It was finally Friday, the day of the big game. You weren't planning on attending, but you did plan on staying after school to work on the mural, since that was the top of your priority list. However, making it to school on time seemed to be today's challenge.

You over slept, unfortunately, and didn't get up until Lucy and Natsu entered your room and flipped over your bed, causing you to hit the floor pretty hard. After only having five minutes to get ready and drive to school, you only had five minutes to find Lisanna and tell her everything that happened last night.

When you found her, her back was turned to you as she was talking to someone, but you were so out of it, you didn't even realize who it was. When went up behind her and hugged her, smiling ear to ear. "Li-san-na!"

"Good morning, Y/n!" Lisanna greeted you. "You're here late!"

"You're not going to believe the morning I've had." You whined, but heard a low chuckle come from the person Lisanna was talking to. When you noticed, you felt your stomach fall to your feet.

"Good morning, Y/n."

"Uhm, good morning, Sting." Your smile threatened to widened, but you kept it under control.

"I was asking Lisanna to try and convince you to come to the game tonight. When we win, we'll all go back to my place and party!"

"Oh, I don't know." You laughed nervously. "Parties aren't really my thing..."

"It's all going to be people we know." Lisanna told you. "Natsu, Lucy, Elfman, Gray... Rogue, Yukino, Orga... I think Hibiki from the Blue Pegasus class..."

"I don't know, Lisanna..."

"Cmon, please?" Sting smiled, walking closer to you and eventually ended up by your side. "I'd like for you to come."

"I'll think about it." You gave a slight nod.

The bell rang, and while the sound would have normally gave you a headache from echoing through your brain, you were focused on Sting's smile. "I'm glad you'll think about it." He said, and then turned his head to look at Lisanna. "Make sure she goes."

"I will." She said, giving you a small wink. He nodded, waved to the both of you, and then walked away to head to his class. When he was out of view and earshot, you looked at Lisanna with wide eyes. Your eyes were filled with shock, excitement, happiness, almost every positive emotion you could possibly feel.

"What just happened!?"

"He seems very fond of you." Lisanna giggled.

"Don't tell me that! You'll put ideas into my head!"

"If not me, then who else?" She laughed, nudging your shoulder. "But seriously, I hear he's been asking a lot about you."

"Really!?"

"That's what I heard, it could be a rumor though... but does that mean you'll go to the party?"

"I don't know, Lisanna. I don't really like parties to begin with. And what if it's all just a cruel prank! Like one of those cliche high school movies where the girl gets drenched in red paint!"

"I don't think Sting would do that to you." Lisanna laughed.

"You never know!"

The bell ring again, signaling the late bell. You and Lisanna both glanced at each other before taking off running to home room. Luckily, Professor Makarov wasn't one to scold students for being late.

Makarov was already preaching the announcements when you and Lisanna had walked in. You took your seats without disrupting him, so he didn't even notice that you had come in late.
