I wrote four chapters today, I'm so proud of myself :)))
_____________________You and Sting spent a few hours just driving around. Talking, listening to music, laughing... it was therapeutic, and a breath of fresh air. Sure, it wasn't anything fancy or adventurous, but it didn't have to be when you were with him. You were just hoping he thought the same about you.
After a while though, he started to drive back home. He expected that everyone would have left by now, but when he pulled into the driveway, he mentally groaned seeing everyone's cars still parked on the street.
When you both walked in, you saw them sitting in the living room, laughing and eating left over pizza. When they heard the door closed, all heads snapped towards you both.
"How was your date?" Rogue teased with a slight smirk. Before you could answer, telling him it wasn't a date, (Sting's words, not yours) Sting was already opening his mouth.
"It was good." He replied with a soft smile. "But I did punch somebody."
"You what!?" Yukino seemed to jump out of her seat. Minerva looked surprised too, and so did everyone else, but Orga wore a smirk. You'd ignore it for now, but it didn't feel right to you.
"Hey, the guy was being a jerk, he deserves it. Definitely broke his nose."
"I thought you swore off fighting!"
"Ha! Are we talking about the same Sting here?" Orga would laugh. "Cmon now, it's Sting! It doesn't matter what's going on, he's gonna find a way to pick a fight one way or another."
"Keep talking and you'll be next with a broken nose." Sting said through gritted teeth.
"Let's not." You sighed quietly.
"So what happened?" Yukino turned to you, eyes filled with worry.
"Some guy was being weird and Sting stepped in to help. When the guy wouldn't listen... Sting punched him."
"Was he being weird towards you?"
"Sorta..."
"He straight up lied." Sting huffed, crossing his arms. "Said that their moms were best friends, and said some bullshit on how he was gonna take her for himself, like guy was a total fucking weirdo."
"Oh, so you were jealous. Got it." Rufus chuckled a bit, going back to his pizza.
"Was not!"
"It's so easy to tell when you're jealous, Sting." Minerva added, holding back a laugh of her own.
"I just hope you didn't scare our poor little Y/n." Orga fake pouted.
"Our?" Sting raised an eyebrow, ready to break his nose.
"See? There you go again. Picking fights because you're jealous." Rufus shook his head.
"I'm not jealous! And I don't pick fights! And I don't think that I scared her!"
"He didn't scare me." You said quickly before anyone would say anything after him. You wanted to assure them quickly and get a word in before they all started to argue. "I actually thought it was pretty sweet of him."
"Aww, how cute!" Yukino gushed.
"You know, he used to be quite the fighter back in the day." Minerva chuckled a bit.
"I know. I'm not unfamiliar with his reputation." You smiled a bit, thinking back. There were many times when Natsu would come over complaining about the certain blond (Sting, not Lucy). You heard a lot about Sting before you even made it to the school. It annoyed you at first, but your freshman year, when you caught a glimpse of him yourself, all that annoyance disappeared and replaced itself with a new emotion that you carried with you from that moment on.
