Sting heard car doors slam in his driveway. His eyes widened as he looked at his friends, especially Rogue, looking for some kind of guidance. Rogue offered him a small smile, and shook his head. He had never seen his friend freak out this way over a girl. Sure, there had been a few flings here and there, but he never saw his best friend truly have feelings for a girl. It was new, a little bit strange, but he was overall happy to see his friend this way.

"You're fine. It's gonna go great." Rogue assured him.

"Yeah, what are you worried about? You know she likes you." Rufus chuckled a bit.

"This is our first official hang out, you know? I just want to make sure everything goes good." Sting sighed.

"This isn't a date." Orga laughed. "It's a casual sleep over with friends. Get over yourself." Sting glared at Orga, and was about to tell him off, but you and Yukino had walked through the door.

"Hey everyone!" Yukino shouted as she entered the door, holding your hand for reassurance.

"Hey!" Sting popped up from his seat to greet you both at the door, or rather, just you. "Hey, Y/n." His voice, eyes, demeanor, everything about him seemed to soften the second you walked into the room.

"Hi." You smiled, feeling your face grow red. The sinking feeling you were feeling earlier seemed to disappear and be replaced with butterflies. You both stood there, staring at each other.

"Awe, you two are just too sweet." Yukino gushed, and took a seat next to Rogue. Everyone else chuckled a bit, and you buried your face in your hands out of embarrassment. Sting rolled his eyes at his friends, and grabbed a hold of your wrist gently to guide you to a seat in the living room next to him.

"Well, I say let's get playing. Minerva won't be here for a while yet." Rogue announced, and picked a card game at random. There were a few laying out, such as Uno, Cards Against Humanity, and a regular pack of playing cards. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Rogue picked Cards Against Humanity.

"Have you played before, Y/n?" Orga asked you as Rogue handed the cards to Rufus to shuffle.

"Once or twice. I've played with Lucy and a few of her friends." You nodded.

"The game is super hilarious and fun." Yukino smiled at you. "And when we get tired of playing, we count how many cards we have, and that's how we determine who wins."

"I've never done it that way before. We usually just play until we get bored and call it a day." You laughed a bit.

"Not us." Rufus shook his head, and started to pass out the cards. Seven for each person. "We can get pretty competitive, are you sure you can keep up?" He said it with a smirk, you had thought nothing of it.

"Shut up, Lore." Sting snapped at him, and then turned his head to you. His frown automatically turned into a smile as his aura completely changed. "Don't mind him, he's stupid."

"Says the one failing biology right now." Rufus shot right back at him. "Let's not forget who's helping you with that test coming up, Eucliffe."

"You're failing biology?" You raised an eyebrow, and Sting just shrugged in response.

"Maybe, maybe not."

"Let's just play the damn game." Orga huffed, reaching for one of the cards. He looked at it for a moment, and then groaned. "Man, this one isn't even that good... 'What's that sound?'" He read, and then threw the card down. Everyone then started to shuffle through their cards, and hand them to Orga one by one. He would shuffle them with his eyes closed, and then would read them.

"Okay... 'What's that sound? Powerful thighs.' Lame. 'What's that sound? My ex-wife.' Kinda funny, I guess. 'What's that sound? Bees.' Lame." You frowned a bit. 'Bees' was your favorite card. "'What's that sound? Sexual Tension.' Pfft. 'What's that sound? Puppies.' Man, these all kinda suck."
