You heard something fall— something fall on to your balcony that led into your room. You shot up from bed in a sweat, and turned your head towards the glass doors that were covered by shear f/c curtains. Behind them, you could see a silhouette of a man. You continued to stare, frozen in place in your own bed. But once you started to hear the door handle move, that's when you flung the blanket off of you, stood up, and grabbed an x-acto knife that was on one of the many easels around the room. You held it close to you, just in case the door was to open. But before you even had a chance to figure out what was going on, a man was crawling through the window that you never locked. Why would you lock it? Your room was on the third floor, no one could reach it.

"Huh? You're not Lucy." This man said, almost as if he was confused. Why was he the one confused!? This pink haired man was breaking into your room!

"Ahh!" You screamed, running out of your room and into the hallway, your x-acto knife still in hand. When you made it halfway down the hallway, you were stopped by Lucy in front of the bathroom. What was she doing up at 2:23 am?

"Y/n, what's the matter?" She asked, her hands on your shoulders.

"Thief, murderer! In my room!" You panted out, your mind in a frenzy. "Call the cops!"

"Woah, don't call the cops!" The man said, walking out of your room with his hands up. "Oh, hey Lucy! I was looking for ya!"

"You went to the wrong balcony uou idiot!" Lucy whisper yelled to him. "I said my room was in the left!"

"I did go to the left!"

"My left, Natsu!"

"Whoops, my bad." Natsu rubbed the back of his neck.

"Lucy, who is this?" You asked her, your eyebrows knitted together.

"Girls!? Is everything alright!?" You heard your father's voice call from downstairs, and her his foot steps getting closer.

"Cover for me!" Lucy said to you, and she grabbed Natsu and pulled him into the bathroom with her, and just in time too.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Your father scolded you.

"Uhm... I really needed to use the bathroom, but Lucy is taking forever!"

"I said I'll be out in a minute!" Lucy yelled through the door.

"You ladies give me a headache. I'm going back to bed. I thought there was an intruder!" Your father whined, and then walked back down stairs. When you heard his bedroom door close, you knocked twice in the door. On cue, Lucy and 'Natsu' came out.

"Phew, that was close." Lucy sighed.

"What are you thinking!?" You whisper yelled, hitting her shoulder. "Who is this!?"

"This is Natsu... my boyfriend." Lucy smiled, and she reached down for his hand. He smiled at her, and then looked at you, extending his other hand out to you.

"Hey, I'm Natsu."

Reluctantly, you took his hand and shook it.

"Natsu, this is Y/n, my younger sister."

"Oh yeah! Lucy talks about you all the time!"

"Shhh!" Both you and Lucy shushed him. He apologized shortly after.

"Lucy, are you insane? What are you doing sneaking a boy into the house? Dad will kill you."

"He won't find out."

"Someone will, though. We're Heartfilia's, we're practically famous. What if someone saw him?"

"No one is up at 2:30 in the morning." Lucy waved it off.

"And what about your engagement to the heir of that railroad business guy, huh?"

"Please, you think I care about that?"

"Dad does! You're the heiress! What will he think?"

"I don't care what he thinks. All I know is that I love Natsu." She looked at him when she said his name, and her face was full with completely adoration.

"Oh Lucy... don't you know how much trouble you'll be in? You'd be lucky if dad doesn't kick you out. You're 'Lucky Lucy Heartfilia,' dad would never allow this."

"Dad isn't going to find out." Lucy said to you harshly. "Right?"

"He won't find out through me. I love you, and I want you to be happy. But..."

"But what?"

"Dad isn't going to be happy about this. And what happens if dad forces this marriage?"

"I'll be there to object it and take the groom's place. Easy peasy." Natsu waved it off as if it was nothing.

"You've already thought of marriage?" Your eyes widened in shock.

"Well, I'm not dating her for fun." Natsu shrugged.

"Lucy, when were you going to tell me about this?"

"Soon..."

"How soon?"

"I was actually going to tell you next month. That's when I plan on telling dad."

"Next month? That long? How could you have hid this from me? Your own sister?"

"I'm sorry Y/n, I was trying to find a good way to tell you, but... I don't know, I couldn't find a good time, and then I couldn't find a good way to explain it."

"How long have you guys been together?"

"About two months?"

"Two months!? And you're talking about marriage!?"

"Shhh!" Lucy and Natsu shushed you.

"Y/n, when you know, you know." Lucy sighed. "And this just feels right. I know it."

"Dad will just drop dead when you tell him."

"And why should he care? He hasn't paid attention to us in years unless it's convenient for him."

"No, I mean he'll drop dead when you tell him you've been sneaking him in for two months!"

"Oh no, this is his first time here... I'm usually the one who sneaks out."

"I... I can't believe you right now."

"Whoops." Lucy laughed, shrugging.

"My head is spinning... I don't feel so good." You swallowed hard, and felt your knees go weak.

"Sorry for breaking into your room. It really was an accident." Natsu laughed, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Uh... uh huh." You said quickly, and then turned back to go into your room. "Just uh.. don't uhm... let it happen again."

"Will do! I mean, don't! Won't? I won't do it again."

You have a small thumbs up as you went back into your room. You made sure the balcony doors were locked, and shut your window and locked it. It was the first time ever you had locked that window, and from that point on, you kept it locked.
