You heard something buzzing, but ignored it. You felt too comfortable. You were using Sting's bicep as a pillow, your hands on his chest as his free arm draped over you. Your face was buried into his chest as he rest his chin on the top of your head. It felt comfortable, like two puzzle pieces together. You never would have thought this was a situation that you'd be in, but you were loving it.
The buzzing stopped, just for it to pick up again. It stopped, and then would buzz again. You groaned, and unfortunately broke free from Sting's grasp. You reached over to grab your phone, and saw your father's contact on your phone screen. You shot up in bed, your anxiety going through the roof.
"Oh my god, oh my god." You rushed out of bed, and ended up falling with a thud. Sting sat up in bed and looked over, his face filled with worry.
"Y/n, you okay!?"
You ignored him, rushing out of the room. You hurried out into the living room, where everyone else was still sleeping, but you woke up Yukino the moment you answered the call with your father.
"Hey dad, sorry, I just woke up, me and Lisanna stayed up late." You lied right through your teeth.
"You need a better sleep schedule." Your father said plainly.
"Yes, you're right. I'm sorry."
"What are your plans with Lisanna today?"
"Uhm, I'm not sure..." You trailed off, still trying to wake up Yukino. She woke up groggy, very confused why you were waking her up.
"I'd like to speak to her, please."
"Of course." You gulped nervously, and took the phone away from your ear. "Lisanna, my dad wants to talk to you."
Yukino's eyes widened, and tried to protest, but you shoved the phone in her hands. She put it on speaker, and cleared her throat a bit. "Hello?"
"Hello, Lisanna. You sound a bit strange, this morning."
"I just woke up, my apologies." She cringed, trying to replicate Lisanna's voice.
"Anyways, I wanted to personally ask you if Y/n could stay another night. I'm having some guests to discuss business matters, and it would be better if Y/n and Lucy aren't here."
"Oh, of course she can stay another night." Yukino smirked. "It's not a problem."
"Thank you, please give me back to Y/n."
Yukino handed you the phone with a smirk on her face. You gave her a fake smile, and then talked to your dad for a bit before he hung up. Unknown to you, Sting was leaning up against the doorway, listening closely.
"You need to stay another night?" He asked, a small smile on his face.
"That's... what it sounds like." You sighed. "But I don't want to spring that up on you, I can go back to Lisa—"
"No! I mean, no, not at all." Sting chuckle a bit as his own excitement. "If you'd like to stay here, I'd be more than happy to have you."
"I'm just wondering why your dad thought I was Lisanna." Yukino finally sat up, rubbing her eyes tiredly. "I don't sound like her at all."
"If you knew my father, you'd understand. He doesn't pay close attention to my friends like that. I could walk you into my house and say you were Lisanna and he wouldn't have a second thought."
"Really? I feel like I don't look like her either." Yukino shook her head.
"It's the hair. Even though the hair length and color is slightly different, my dad wouldn't question it."
"That's... kinda sad, don't you think?"
"Yeah." You replied flatly, lowering your head. Not even two seconds later, Sting was by your side, his arm wrapped around your shoulders and a bright smile.
"Don't worry. We're gonna have a lot of fun today." He told you. You nodded, offering him a small smile back.
"What do you two have planned today?" Yukino raised an eyebrow with a small smirk.
"We're just gonna hang out. Speaking of which—"
"Let them sleep, we were all up late last night."
"Doing what?" Sting looked at Yukino curiously.
"Well... we were all... 'hypothesizing' when you and Y/n were going to officially start dating, what you both were going to do on your date today, stuff like that." He laughed a bit. Sting groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. You giggled a bit, feeling some butterflies flutter around in your stomach. "If you and Y/n wanna get ready to leave, I can babysit."
"Nah, I trust you guys. Just make sure Rogue locks up, he has a key."
"Who knows, maybe we'll stay all day and wait til the two of you come back so we can interrogate you." Yukino laughed. Sting rolled his eyes, moving his arm from your shoulders to your waist.
"Cmon Y/n, let's get ready." He told you, trying to guide you back to his room, but you stopped him.
"My clothes are in Yukino's car, I have to go get them."
"I thought you said you didn't have them?" He smirked, crossing his arms.
"I.. I said I didn't have pajamas. I have regular clothes."
Sting let out a chuckle as Yukino shoved her car keys into your hand so you could get your clothes yourself. You went as fast as you could, embarrassed that you were wearing Sting's boxers and crop top still. You grabbed your things, locked Yukino's car, and hurried back into the house. You gave the key back to Yukino, who started to fall back asleep, and went into the bathroom to change.
You changed into your normal out of school clothes, a pair of ripped jeans and your favorite shirt. There may have been a few paint splatters at the end of it, but no one could really notice. You brushed your hair and teeth, and looked at yourself in the mirror for a while. Were you really just about to go on a date with Sting Eucliffe? No, he said it wasn't a date, it would just be a casual hang out, but... this could lead to dates, right?
While inside your head, there was a knock at the bathroom door. "Hey, you almost ready?" Sting's voice asked. You took a deep breath, and swallowed it whole before opening the door to reveal him standing there. What he was wearing... was definitely a choice. A pair of jeans that anyone would have, and a crop top. One that showed off his perfect abs. Gods, you knew you were staring, but you couldn't look away!
"Ready to go?" He asked you, ignored your gaze.
"Yes! Let's go!"
