Monday rolled around, and Lisanna couldn't help but smile around you. She was happy you were coming out of your shell a little bit, and excited that you were finally building the confidence to be able to talk to and be around Sting. Lucy felt the same way about the situation, after hearing it from Lisanna. Truth be told, Lucy and Natsu didn't stick around the party for very long, so she had entrusted Lisanna and Yukino to watch over you and to get the details about you and Sting to her.

"Y/n, what are your plans this weekend?" Lisanna asked you. "I heard something about Sting—"

"Don't get my hopes up." You chuckled to yourself. "Besides, this weekend is the art show gallery thingy my dad made me participate in."

"Don't you usually like doing those, though?"

"Sure I do, I just hate the social part. It's all these rich people picking apart my art. Don't get me wrong, I like constructive criticism, but because I'm the Heartfilia heir, I have to be extremely social to help dad make business deals or whatever."

Lisanna just nodded, and you both continued a conversation that had no real topic. That was, until Sting came into view. He was by his locker, talking with Yukino and Rogue. Yukino looked at him with what seemed like a sympathetic look, and Rogue rolled his eyes as his lips curled into a small smile as he patted his friend on the shoulder.

"I wonder what they're talking about." You wondered out loud to yourself.

"Why don't you find out?" Lisanna said with a devious small smile.

"Not a chance." You said quickly, shutting her down. "It looks important, I don't wanna—! Lisanna!" She had cut you off, and grabbed your hand, taking off to hurry close to the three of them. Yukino just happened to see the two of you approaching, and quickly tapped Rogue on the shoulder to signal him to stop talking. He looked at her confused, and then looked past Sting, and waved to the both of you.

"Hey Y/n, Lisanna." He greeted in a monotone voice. Sting seemed to tense up when he had heard your name. It concerned you just a bit, but you ignored it.

"Hey guys!" Lisanna exclaimed cheerfully. Sting ended up spinning on his heels to face the two of you, and he looked nervous. He smiled awkwardly, a tint of pink dusted on his cheeks.

"Hey, Y/n." He said, completely ignoring Lisanna.

"Hey." You said back, also sharing a similar awkward smile. No one said anything for a few moments after that, and the tension was weighing everyone down, until Yukino had cleared her throat.

"Ahem."

"Oh, right. Y/n, uhm... me and a few friends usually do a game night on Saturdays... Id really like for you to join. You can come too, if you'd like." Sting said looking at you, but then looked at Lisanna for the last comment.

"I don't really like games." Lisanna said quickly. "But Y/n loves them!"

"Great! So you'll come Saturday?" His awkward smile disappeared to reveal a genuine one. You felt your heart ache.

"I would, but I sorta have a thing this Saturday."

"A thing?"

"Yeah... a thing."

"What kind of thing?"

"An important thing." You looked down at your hands as you started to play with your fingers.

"A date?"

"No! Nothing like that!"

"Oh, well... As long as it's not that." Sting laughed nervously, his smile starting to fade.
