The next morning, everyone woke up feeling energized and ready to take on the day’s adventures. But what they didn’t know was that something special awaited them.

#### The Surprise

Austin was the first to wake up. He got out of bed and stretched, feeling the warmth of the sun spilling into the room. As he walked to the window, what he saw took him completely by surprise.

*Am I still dreaming? It doesn’t snow in L.A., does it?*

Austin’s heart raced with excitement. He turned to see the world outside blanketed in a soft layer of glistening snow, the rooftops and trees adorned in white. It was a magical sight, one that felt like a scene from a holiday movie.

#### Waking the Family

He rushed back to the bed and gently shook Lucy awake.

“Baby, wake up! Come look out the window!”

Lucy stirred, her eyes still heavy with sleep.

“What is it?” she mumbled, blinking at the light streaming in.

“Just trust me! You have to see this!” Austin urged.

Finally, she sat up and rubbed her eyes, curiosity piqued. As she joined him at the window, her expression transformed from confusion to pure delight.

“Oh my gosh! Snow! It’s beautiful!”

Austin grinned, watching her reaction.

“I know! Can you believe it? It’s like a winter wonderland out there!”

Lucy pressed her face against the glass, her breath fogging up the window.

“This is unreal! We’ve got to go outside!”

“Absolutely!” Austin replied, feeling a rush of joy. “Let’s wake everyone up and have a snowball fight!”

#### The Snowball Fight

They hurried to rouse Lori and Timmy, bursting into their rooms with excitement.

“You guys have to get up! There’s snow everywhere!”

Lori groggily opened her eyes.

“What? Snow? In L.A.?”

Timmy, already half-awake, jumped out of bed.

“No way! Let’s go!”

Within minutes, the house was alive with laughter and shouts of excitement. They all bundled up in warm clothes, their cheeks flushed with anticipation.

As they stepped outside, the cold air hit them, but the thrill of the unexpected snow made it all worthwhile.

“Alright, who’s ready for some snowball action?” Austin called out, scooping up a handful of snow.

Lucy laughed, her eyes sparkling.

“You’re on!”

The morning quickly turned into a playful battle, with snowballs flying through the air and laughter echoing around the yard. They built snowmen, made snow angels, and cherished the beauty of the day.

#### Hot Cocoa and Gratitude

As they took a break, catching their breath and sipping hot cocoa, Austin felt a wave of gratitude wash over him.

“This is amazing,” he said, looking at Lucy, Lori, and Timmy. “I never expected this day to be so special.”

Lucy smiled, leaning against him.
