Ch.141 - Balin's First Target: Buzz and Leni (HALLOWEEN 2025 SPECIAL!)

Changing back into her human form in a flash of blue light, Loona returned to Holy Water School, just seconds after infiltrating the D.H.O.R.K.S headquarters in search of her stolen phone.

She may've been holding it in one of her hands once again, but entered the halls rubbing one of her eyes after one of the Cherubs spat in it earlier.

Opening her eyes with a quiet groan, Loona then saw Balin and the rest of his school's little performers up on stage finishing the final song of the school's end-of-year show.

At first, she heard the female singers singing it in a balm harmony while everyone else went 'Ahhh...' in a beautiful melody.

"Psst! Loona, girl." Vortex called out to her quietly.

One of her hound ears perked out of her human form, before Loona looked over to see Vortex as he patted a free chair for her.

Trying to look discreet, Loona crouched down and shuffled her way towards the group, ...like she was on all fours again, before eventually sitting back down next to Tex.

"You... okay now?" asked the buff hound-in-disguise quietly.

"Well, kinda got a little too used to that." Loona whispered in response, ...and a blush. "Sorry if that's weird."

The two hounds snickered to themselves, before looking back at the performance.

By the time she did, every child on stage; including Balin, started singing along to the third part of the final chorus of 'Heal the World.' Everyone in the audience, except for the entire Hellish gang, either stood up or stayed seated as they began swaying their phones with the flashlights on like they were at a real concert.

During that chorus, cold-sparks (artificial indoor fireworks) began pouring down from above the stage, making everyone cheer and the I.M.P crew smiled in delight.

They even made Loona's eyes glisten as her hair blew with the air conditioning.

Soon, as they sung the outro, all of the singing kids started bowing and pointing their hands out to the lighting crew, then the stage AND backstage, and finally to the audience as they took one last bow.

Then, just as the song came to a close, confetti was shot all over the stage; sending everyone in a round of applause straight away, without a care in the world.

One cheering human in the audience accidentally inhaled a piece of confetti, then began choking so much, blood started coming out of every cough until he fell. But thank goodness none of the children saw that.

...

A few moments after the show, the lights in the hall were back on and everyone was walking around; chatting with each other.

MR. ASTOR (V.O): *on the intercom* "On behalf of Holy Water Protestant Primary School, I would like to extend our deepest thanks to all those involved with the show, including you; the audience. Some of them, the parents that somehow come. To those people, happy holidays! And to your kids, see you on Monday."

As the Principal spoke, and while the disguised demons chatted and laughed as they waited for Balin, the little boy was putting away his instruments with a smile on his face.

Just then, the Sea Shanty gang showed up.
