Chapter 93
Claire's POV
Nat wasn't in bed when I woke up. I rolled over with a sigh to check the time, it was 4:30am, too early for Nat to normally be up working out. I made my way downstairs only to find an empty kitchen. The darkness surrounding me was beginning to be interrupted by the dusky purple emerging in the sky. The slight hum from the fridge and the ticking from a nearby clock were the only sounds I could hear. I went to leave to look elsewhere but out of the corner of my eye I noticed a lone figure sitting outside. Even though it was still fairly dark I could tell it was Natasha. The way she sat there, how her hair sat around her shoulders, it was easy to tell that it was her.
Nat tuned to face me as I closed the door behind me.

"Hey sweetheart".

"Hey, what are you doing out here?". I sat down next to her and leaned my shoulder into hers.

"I came out here almost every morning around this time when you were gone, just to watch the sunrise. And with every new day I just hoped I could find you" Nat explained.

"Do you mind if I watch this sunrise with you?" I asked.

"You have no idea how many mornings I sat out here  wishing that you were here watching it with me, so yes Claire, please stay". Nat's arm wrapped around my waist protectively. Her eyes never left the changing morning sky. Dark purple was slowly morphing into a rosy pink colour.

"Claire?".

"Yeah my love?".

"I'm sorry" Nat said sadly.

"Whatever for?" I said looking at her.

"I can't forgive myself. I can't get it out of my head. If I had only listen to you all those times you tried to talk to me then you wouldn't have had to go through all that again" she explained.

"Nat we all make mistakes, I'm not going to hold that against you. We all learn and grow from mistakes. I just hope that you can trust me enough if I ever have a feeling that something isn't right like that again" I replied.

"Claire I will never put anything before you again, nothing and no one. You have always and will always be my everything and I'm sorry that I didn't show that to you all those months ago, I won't let it happen again" Nat confessed.

"You are my world Nat. Nothing would have stopped me coming home to you. Promise me you will forgive yourself please" I smiled.

"I'll try" Nat smiled back.

We sat there as the last of the pinks vanished from the sky, taken over by the bright light of the sun. Later we headed back inside and Nat went to a meeting whilst I went to find yelena. Yelena was in the gym by herself with headphones on. I approached her with a smile and sat down near her.

"Hey Yelena".

"Hey Claire, what are you up to?".

"I came to find you, I wanted to thank you for taking care of Nat for me while I wasn't here" I said.

Yelena stopped what she was doing and sat on the floor next to me. "I'll always be there for her when she needs. She was a mess Claire. I've never seen her like that, she wasn't eating or sleeping. Everyone tried to help her, but you know Nat, not one to be told what to do" Yelena explained.

"I know it would have been hard so thank you" I smiled.

I had been meaning to catch up with yelena last night to thank her but I never had the chance. We sat on the floor chatting for a while. Yelena always had a way of making me forgot about everything and just have fun. I was laughing so hard that it was slightly hurting my ribs but I didn't care, for the first time in a long time I felt like everything was back to normal. My phone vibrated in my back pocket and I pulled it Out to see a message from Nat.
