Chapter 27

Chapter 27.
Nat's POV

It had been two weeks since Claire and I had been sick. I was very grateful Claire was there for me. I didn't like to ask for help or admit I might need help but Claire never made me feel like some weak defenceless person. She was just there when I needed her to be. Had it been anyone else I would never have ask for help.

We watched a movie together last night planning to get to bed early before the team mission today. After a lot of making out and touching during the movie we weren't really watching we ended up in Claire's bed for one hell of a pleasurable night, like many other nights lately.

This morning I left her room to go to my room to get ready.
I had my suit on and was braiding my hair out of the way. There was a soft knock at the door.

"Nat are you in there?"

I opened the door to Claire standing there smiling.

"I just need 2 more minutes. Come in" I said as I opened the door wider for her to walk in.

She was wearing her suit that look so good on her. She sat on the end of the bed and watched me finish my hair.
I sat next to her to put my shoes on.

"Your hair always looks so soft. You need to let me braid it for you one day" I say looking at Claire's hair.
"You can braid my hair anytime you want" she answered.
"I love braiding people's hair so you might have to deal with me doing it all the time then" I laughed.
"I won't stop you" Claire smiled back.

A smile tugged at the corner of my mouth when I noticed Claire looking at me.

"Claire, you're staring" I grinned.
"I like to call it admiring" she smirked back. "I always like seeing you in that suit".
"Why is that Claire? Does it turn you on?" Nat smirked at you.
"The suit doesn't but you in it does" claire confessed as she bit her lip.
"I was thinking-" I started to say but was Interrupted by Friday announcing the jets were ready to go.
"We better go" I sighed.

Claire's POV

God I wished I knew what she was about to say.

Unfortunately this conversation would have to wait.

Nat and I walked side by side down to the hanger holding hands until we had to let go before anyone saw us. In the hanger there was a bustle of people rushing around to get things done quickly. I could see the rest of the Avengers standing in a group by one of the jets so Nat and I headed over.

"About time you two showed up" Sam laughed.
"Lady Natasha, Lady Claire!" Thor bellowed cheerfully.
"Always waiting on someone" Tony said rolling his eyes.
"Oh leave them alone, you just got down here yourself Tony. Ready to go girls?" Wanda smiled cheerfully.
"Yeah Wands let's do this" Nat replied.

Just as everyone went to board the jets Fury arrived.

"Good to see everyone here on time" he said looking over at Yelena.
"Oh come on that was once, you need to learn to move on" Yelena said rolling her eyes.
"Good luck today. I know you are all more than capable of completing the mission requirements. Just don't embarrass me" fury said. Rogers, Romanoff, a word please".

Fury walked off with Steve and Nat following. They were all to far away to hear what they were talking about. When they finally returned, fury went to leave walking past you.

"I've heard great things, just like I expected agent Rosewood. I do hope you're still behaving though" he said as he walked away quickly.

I still don't understand why he thinks I apparently don't "behave". What an idiot!
