"Welcome competitors, senseis, sponsors, and esteemed guests to Barcelona. this years home of the worlds greatest karate tournament, the Sekai Takai!" Gunther formally announced, "The Sekai Taikai holds a rich and proud history, and if you are here, it's because you embody all that the Sekai Taikai stands for. Leadership, respect, sportsmanship." Gunther told as Alana glanced over to her boyfriend.
"Captains, step forward and tie on your headbands." He told as Alana and Robby looked at each other before stepping forward. Alana pulled out her headband and tied it around her head, "Captains, you will have the honor and privilege to compete in our televised tournament of champions, but that is only if your dojo does well enough in our team competitions to make it to the final four. Once the tournament is over, we'll then tally all the points your dojos have earned. The dojo with the most points, wins the Sekai Taikai." Gunther said as Alana looked over to see Tory looking over at her, a look of sadness in her eyes.
Alana's jaw clenched, not knowing how to react. Alana was upset to say the least, she wished Tory would've talked to her. But, in the end, she knew that Tory grieved in her own ways. Alana looked over at Robby, his eyes already on Tory. "did you know?" Alana asked as she leaned in closer, Robby shook his head, "no, i swear." He said making Alana take a deep breath. Alana looked up to see the guy standing right beside Tory was already staring at her. Her eyebrows furrowed when he looked her up and down. Alana looked away, trying to ignore his stare.
"we have a field trip arranged for our competitors and for our senseis, a cocktail mixer with our distinguished sponsors, some of the worlds finest martial arts brands. it's a beautiful day to make a first impression, and i suggest you enjoy it. Because tomorrow, your lives change forever. Good luck, and welcome to the Sekai Taikai!" Gunther finished his announcement as everyone cheered.

Alana was inside with Sam and Devon. The three of them are sharing a room, Sam and Alana used to sleep in the same bed when they were younger, so this wasn't a problem for them.
Sam and alana tried their hardest not to be upset about Tory, but they couldn't help it. Devon noticed their emotions, "you guys okay?" She asked as the two girls looked up, "how could tory go back to Cobra Kai? i thought things had changed.." Sam said softly as Alana and the girls walked closer to the guys.
Suddenly the group heard someone coming up to them. "wow.. so you're the famous Miyagi-Do? we've heard about you, but i do not know why." The tall guy said as he kept his glance on Alana. Her jaw clenched her jaw as she looked up at him, he was only a footstep away from her. When his eyes met Alana's, he scoffed, "you do not look like much." He said as Eli walked forward and stood in front of Alana in a protective manner.
"yeah, you'll see it a lot better when you step on the mat tomorrow." Eli said as Robby put a hand on Eli's shoulder and Miguel placed his hands on Alana's hips, something that the guy noticed. "Come on, guys. it's not worth it." Robby muttered as the two faced him, Miguel nodded as he put an arm around Alana's waist. "Robby's right, forget about them. they're just any other dojo here." Miguel said as the group watched Tory speed walk past them. "Tory.." Robby said as he walked after her, the rest of cobra kai pushed past the group.
