Alana was walking on the beach in a peaceful way. Her hands in her pockets as the wind blew through her hair. Alana loved walking on the beach, it's something that soothed her. She and Sam used to go to the beach in the middle of the night and talk. Something that was like a tradition for them.
Alana squints her eyes as she looked in front of her to see someone standing there. The more steps she took, the more she could see who it was. It was Axel. He was shirtless and doing some karate moves. That's when he had saw her standing there, the girls eyes widened. "Oh, i-i'm sorry. Sorry, i didn't mean to scare you or anything. I'm Alana, by the way." She says as she walked a little closer to him.
His eyes remained on the floor, "Axel." He said back, his tone being strong. "That's some pretty impressive kata. What's it called?" Alana asked as she wrapped her arms around her waist. Something that Alana noticed was how frantic Axel was. "I- I am not supposed to speak with opponent." He said as he looked away from her. Alana tilted her head, "we're not on the mat? It's a little bit late to be training, don't you think?" Alana asked with her eyebrows raised. "Always time for training." He said as he bent down to grab his shirt.
Alana's eyes widened when she saw red marks on his back, "Holy- woah- what happened to your back?" Alana said as she walked closer to him. Axel looked down, avoiding her eyes again. "Oh, from Bo Staff competition." He says as he pulled his shirt on. Alana furrowed her eyebrows, "no one's even been able to land a point on you yet?" Alana said but his silence made her realize.
She took a deep breath, "You know, i saw what happened.. with your Sensei." Alana spoke softly. Axel looked at her, "My Sensei wants me to be the best, it's because of him i never lose." Axel said as Alana tilted her head. "There are other ways of teaching. I mean, i hate to say it but, your dojos pretty good." Alana said with a small smile. Axels eyes softened as a little smile formed on his face. "Thank you. You're pretty- y-you're dojos pretty good, too." Axel said, stumbling over his own words.
Alana chuckled, "we've definitely been trying." She said as she put her hands in her back pockets. In was quiet for a moment, when suddenly Axel spoke up. "Mind if i join?" He asked causing the girl to furrow her eyebrows. "Excuse me?" She said softly, "Your walk. I was going back to Hotel." He said with a smile. Alana nodded, "Oh, yeah, definitely." She said as they both started walking.

"I heard people talk about your accident. You hurting your back." Axel said as Alana felt her breathing hitch for a second. Axel noticed her eyes dropping to the ground, "Sorry-" He had started talking but Alana cut him off, "No. You're all good. Just that.. I didn't know people were talking about me." Alana said as she put a strand of hair behind her ear. "Not all bad things. You're captain for reason." Axel said which made the girl smile.
