Desmond was brought to the orphanage where the others were. They alls seemed excited to see he was finally defeated. William immediately hugged his best friend. "Erika! You actually did it. I'm glad!" He praised gently and gave her an affectionate smile that she appreciated. "I guess so.. It was more [Redacted]'s doing though.." She mumbled tiredly. William pat her shoulder. "You still fought to protect everyone! We all did! And we're not even adults!" He stated holding both her hands in his. Erika was immediately infected by his positive words and got excited. "We did it! No more danger!" She agreed and looked at her friends, happy to be back. "Hey guys..." She greeted them and was immediately met with joy by the others. "YOU'RE ACTUALLY BACK!" Lila exclaimed holding onto Itsuki. Lydia came to greet her sister. "You've done it. I never thought I'd say this but I'm glad Desmond's defeated and even more glad to have you back here safe!" She almost sobbed in happiness. Erika embraced her tightly. "I'm glad y'all are okay too." She smiled as she looked over her friends. Viktoria stepped up to her with a frown. "We couldn't save everyone though... Constance died... We, especially I, couldn't do anything..." She confessed her voice full of guilt. Erika was shocked. "Another victim of this useless war. We shall make proper funeral's for all those who've fallen dead to the hands of the alliance. But I think first it's more important to punish the ones responsible." She mumbled as she looked over at Mai, who was still restraining Desmond. Lydia scoffed and walked over to him. "Look at you powerful leader now. You've lost, accept it. Your plan was always doomed to fail!" She laughed to which Desmond gave her an annoyed glare. Erika went to Nanako. "I think it's time we alarm the authorities about this." She suggested and Nanako agreed. "Yeah, I'll call them! Good thing the telephone and Internet still work here!" She rushed to get the telephone and dialed the number.

A little while later Desmond, Ethan, Michael, Page and Lydia, who turned herself in were arrested. The friend group collectively agreed to spare Rachel and Tiffany from consequences as they did no real harm and since Tiffany is just a child with a messed up family. Even though Victoria was mad at Rachel for not coming with Helena and Kate, she still forgave her quickly as Kate didn't want further fights anymore and wanted to experience peace now.

Ethan and Michael both received 3 months in juvenile prison and 100 social hours.

Lydia got 2 years of juvenile prison due to the destruction she caused but wasn't punished further due to her friends stating she had already gotten better and her voluntarily turning herself in. Her destruction had caused 1 person to die.

Page on the other hand received 5 years of juvenile prison and a psych evaluation as she seemed out of her mind with no regret for her deeds and no signs of any positive changes to appear in her anytime soon, but also not fully sane. Her actions have caused 1 death as well.

Desmond received 5 years of juvenile prison, a psych evaluation and more social hours than he can count as he still seemed to be in the mindset of wanting to do things like that again. Other reasons for his punishment was that he started and controlled the entire war in the first place, misused his powers to abuse and gaslight others, committed kidnapping and exploited children. Everyone agreed it was his actions causing all the deaths in the first place.

As soon as they were arrested Erika and her friends made sure to collect the bodies of the deceased and plan each of them a respectful funeral and get each of them their own graves. "A tragedy like this shall never happen again. We will learn how to be stronger using our powers to make sure of that, so that the next generation shall live on peacefully." We're Erika's last words of her speech at the funerals.
