Kate and Helena made their way to the orphanage with Helena leading the way because Kate had no idea where they even were. It was a quiet walk, none of them was in the mood to talk. They eventually arrived and Viktoria came immediately running into Kate's arms. "KATE! I missed you so much!" She exclaimed burying her face in Kate's shoulder. Kate was quickly feeling much better seeing the person she loved most again. "I missed you too, love!" Kate said quietly as she held her girlfriend tight. "Where's Rachel? I thought I had told her to come with you..." Viktoria carefully asked and Kate's gaze fell to the ground. "She didn't feel well... She told us she can't come. I just hope it wasn't a bad decision to leave her there alone.." Kate explained and Viktoria face softened. "Hey, it's okay. We're gonna defeat Desmond and then you can take care of her all you want!" She tried to comfort Kate, slowly rubbing Kate's back. "I guess you're right... Let's focus on the task first.." Kate mumbled hugging her own torso.

Lila and Itsuki eventually came to greet them as well. "Hey Kate! I seriously thought Rachel would eat you or something, haha!" Itsuki joked and Lila shot him a glare. "What he wants to say is that we're glad you arrived safe and healthy!" Lila explained and took Kate's hands in her own. "Erika, Mai and Lydia are still not back.." She muttered, being worried. "I'm sure they're fine... They have Lydia! She's strong and since they made up, I'm sure she would be ready to protect her sister." Itsuki tried to reassure her and Kate nodded. "Yeah Lila, they're surely alright! Erika's one of the toughest people you'll meet. She'll fight for what is right, no matter what!" Kate stated and stroked Lila's hand in a comforting manner. "I guess you're right..." Lila mumbled and tried to calm down. "Anyway, wanna check up on the children? You've always cooked the best food, maybe that'll cheer them up!" Lila asked and Kate agreed following her inside. Before she could even take one step into the kitchen, Nanako came and embraced her tightly. "I was so scared, Kate! You can't do this to your poor mother... Please don't do that again." Nanako pleaded. She was near tears of joy that her daughter was back in one piece. Kate smiled joyfully. "Mom! I missed you too!" She exclaimed embracing Nanako as well. "Is everyone back now?" She asked Kate, who shook her head. "No... Lydia, Erika and Mai are still missing. They went to search for Tiffany, Desmond's sister!" She explained. Nanako sighed worried. "I really hope they're doing okay... I don't want to hear about more losses..." Nanako muttered.

Further away, deep into the forest, that hid Fortress Aegis and Darkstett from the rest of the world, Erika, her sister and her best female friend were still searching for Tiffany. "Hm, still no trace of Michael. This is far behind his territory, I'm sure he's probably already been caught." Lydia stated yawning. They had been searching all day and still found nothing at all. "Then it's just Tiffany you say?" Erika asked to which she received a nod from her sister. "Well then, it should be easy to win against a child! How old is she anyway?" Mai wondered. "I think she's about 8 years old. She's Desmond's little sister, with him as help if she calls him for it. She's not easy to defeat at all.." Lydia informed them and Erika looked a little scared. "You mean we potentially have to fight with Desmond already?" She asked frightened. Lydia nodded. "That's what would happen in the worst case scenario.."

They eventually arrived at a small lake. It looked calm and peaceful. "Hey guys, do you think we can stay here for a while? We've been walking all day and haven't eaten anything..." Mai carefully asked. "Of course! Food is important! Let's eat something!" Erika agreed happily. Lydia on the other hand was annoyed. "We can't let too much time pass. Every minute counts here, Desmond will soon figure out a way to go to [Redacted] and-" She ranted as Erika suddenly held up some food she had packed from the orphanage in front of her face. "Come on, eat something! It's not like we're sleeping, we're just trying to stay in good bodily conditions which requires us to eat!" She explained and Lydia hesitantly sat down. "Alright... Some food can't hurt I guess... But don't take too long." She mumbled.
