I was still sat talking to Mrs Choi when the bell rang again signalling someone was entering the cafe, I looked towards the door to see who it was.

Of all people it could have been why did it have to be him, Hyunjin walked in heading towards the 4 others at their table, I was in complete shock I didn't realise Mrs Choi had spoke to me.

I turned to face her, composing myself quickly, she was sat with a slight smirk on her face "what?" I said looking confused at her, "I sense some tense between you and the young man who just came in." She somehow said sweetly still with the smirk on her face.

I was completely gobsmacked at her statement,  I didn't know how to respond I tried coming up with words but it just didn't work, "I... No there is nothing going on there, also he's a famous idol that would never happen." Before she could responded to my all over the place answer I saw movement from my peripheral vision.

I saw hyunjin heading for the counter so I stood up excusing myself with Mrs Choi and heading behind the counter. "Hi, what would you like?" I said trying to act as normal as I could.

"I'll take one iced American please" he said leaning onto the counter slightly with a smile across his face, "Your total is ₩3100." ($2.40) he smiled and handed over the money slightly brushing his hand against mine cause my breath to catch in my throat.

"I will bring it to your table when it's ready." I smiled and then turned and flew into the back. I hate my life. Why was hyunjin here, did he just like making my everyday life stressful, and that taunting smile he done as he ordered.

I could see the pleasure in tormenting me in front of his friends, who clearly didn't know who I was and he was finding this so very entertaining clearly.

Once the drink was made I grabbed it took a deep breath and headed over to the table where they were sat. With a smile on my face as I reached the table I placed the drink down, "Here you go, enjoy." I said and turned and walked away ignoring Hyunjin's stare on me.

I stayed behind the counter as it was fairly slow this afternoon, it was about 2:30pm and my thoughts were disturbed by the bell of the door again. I smiled so widely and walked out from behind the counter.

"Omg." I said as I walked over to Kai and gave him the biggest hug ever, we hadn't seen each other in forever as our shifts hadn't been lining up at the same time. "I feel like I've not seen you in ages." I said overjoyed as I let him go from my tight grip of a hug.

We both head over behind the counter and into the back, I could feel the stare of someone but I was too consumed by my happiness, I was so happy to see him again I just had to go speak to him while he put his stuff in his locker.

Another chapter done, I want to make sure this gets my full attention but that's going to be harder if I don't finish it sooner as uni is really hard this semester 🫠
