The place was packed, people everywhere from the looks of it. That was to be expected, though, as it was a Saterday at a mall in the middle of Tokyo. Even with the crowd, Surebu seemed content. She was used to all the noise, the crowds. The busy life was one she was very farmilier with.
The boy next to her, however....
Tetsue was beyond nervous, sweating like crazy, eyes darting every direction. He honestly hadn't expected her to agree to a date. He thought he had NO chance with such an amazing girl. Yet here they both were, sitting in a booth at the food court of the mall closest to the school. She'd gotten all dressed up, too! It was the very first time he'd seen her in a dress, let alone one that practically had her glowing!
Surebu laughed, noticing the others' nerves. This had snapped Tetsue out of this little spiral of doubt he was putting himself into. He looked up at her and couldn't help the smile that hit his lips. There was NO WAY this was real!
He gave his arm a small pinch, pain erupting through that spot and was suddenly overcome with joy.
"You don't need to be so on edge, Tetsue," she mumbled out reaching for his hand. The boys eyes darted down to their now joined hands and couldn't help but hope his palm wasn't sweaty. He hadn't meant to. He was just so nervous!
His quirk....
There was a pause as Tetsue became overwhelmed with fear and panic. Meanwhile, Surebu had barely flinched.
Blood trickled down to the seat between them, it wasn't much, just a small cut, but enough to cause the steal boy to start screaming out apology after apology. This gained the attention of a large portion of the mall, eyes shifting to the noise.
Surebu smiled, seeming to grow more fond of the boy. Still, she'd rather not have him panic like this. Without thinking, she slowly raised their hands, locking their fingers and gently kissed the steel covering, preventing her from touching his skin.
The boy froze up, eyes wide.
A moment passed as Surebu snicked behind the hands, trying her hardest not to make fun of the dopey face the other was making. Seeing this, the boy had practically fallen in love all over again. He could feel his face burning, sure that he was beat red by now, yet he didn't care. She was smiling! Because of him!
This seemed to relax the boy enough for his quirk to stop and loosen the death grip he had on the poor girls hand. He hesitated slightly, but he leaned in and ever so gently kissed her hand back, watching as she began to wear a similar blush herself, but the smile never wavered between them.
Off to the side, Mina grabbed a hold of Kirishima, wrapping her arms around one of his in a death grip and violently shook him, a tiny squeal escaping her. Sero smiled looking back to the menu, an obvious fake mustash taped to his his face, with his own tape no less. Kaminati sat next to him with a brown wig on, his blond hair oh so obviously poking out and a summer dress on, pant legs poking out the bottom.
The group watched on as this cute display of affection was shared amongst the boy of steel and the girl with a tormented mind.
"Seems like we had the same idea?"
The four paused, looking up to watch as Monama leaned over one of the chairs, sunglasses over his eyes and hood over his head. Next to him was the obvious punk aesthetic of Shinsou Hitoshi, leather jacket in hand and draped over one shoulder as he watched on, keeping an eye on his sister. His washed out ripped jeans peeked out of his platformed boots, chains and spikes covering the item. Following along was a bashful Ojiro, face tinged pink as he looked at the purple haired boy. It seemed the only one of those three trying to be discreet was Monama, but he looked more like he was going to mug you rather than simply spy on a date.
