So I had a bunch of work planned, but due to moving house and personal issues, all of my hard copies as well as digital are all gone. UASV is one I have the plot for in my head and I'd kept working on so no doubt that is going through as planned. I will need to take time however as all the flashbacks and extra bits I wanted to add in were all on the hard copies, so please be patient with me? Book 2 of UASV on the other hand, I'll need to re-tweek it because the only thing I have from it is a drawing of a character I was adding in and sheer memory!

In other words, even through the chaos of irl, Surebu lives on and haunts my nightmares!

I do want to know though, do you guys want book 2 to follow cannon or I do as I do? I had some things planned but with the cannon end to BNHA I am a little worried...

A deep breath leads to a sharp, horrifying pain. It was dark, and she could barely open her eyes as a shrill scream broke through the silence. She tried to pull her arms into herself, but they'd been tied down. That was when she took note of the cold feeling over her back.

She forced her eyes open and was instantly met with a bright light. She blinked, trying to adjust to the light, but the pain came back, almost like a knife was slicing her stomach open from the bottom of the ribcage down. Once again, she screamed, trying to escape the pain. She saw enough to know this was not the league or UA.

The feeling of warm liquid spilling from her body became all too apparent. She looked over to the side, and suddenly, the pain wasn't important anymore. The only thing that mattered was that poor little girl was forced to watch. Yellow eyes met red, and Surebu knew that girl wanted to help. Even though she knew she was being sliced open, Surebu managed the faintest of smiles in hopes of ease the little girl.

"It's okay," she barely managed to wheeze it out before the dark feeling came over. Her body grew cold and numb, and suddenly, nothing.

When her eyes opened once more, she heard the slightest hint of someone sobbing. Curiousity peaked as she looked around the room. It wasn't one she was familiar with. All white walls, no windows. No, nothing.... Unless you count the child. The little girl was huddled in the corner. She was shaking like a leaf, hair as white as a sheet of paper in small curls that hit the floor from her seated position.

Surebu felt something in her snap as she jumped up, heading straight for the little girl, ignoring all the pain as she went. Once she made it to the girl, she reached out a hand and gently placed it on her head. The girls reaction was almost instant as she weeped out apology after apology, asking to be forgiven. Surebu felt herself be crushed inside. This girl... Looking into her eyes... it was impossible not to recognise her... and worse... She knew what had happened to her...

Yellow eyes blinked as she allowed her mind to wander back to reality. Last thing she wanted was to be reminded of that time, of the family she lost. She needs to focus on what she still has, no matter the past.
