Hello, guess who's back at it again. Hope you all enjoy this little bit. Once again struggling to write this story 😅
Any tips to help get me motivated will be grand since I got book 2 going and also a 'Surebu between 1 & 2' and before book 1 in the works.
The stadium was packed, filled with friends, family and heroes of all kinds, watching as each student gets their names called out and proceeds to walk along the stage and collect their graduation certificates. Aizawa smiled as he watched his students walk along to Nezu, chuckling slightly at how they all needed to bend down to get anything from the rat man. He made sure to wear his best suit and had Nemuri tame that mess of hair he had and pull it back into a tidy bun. Speaking of, she was sat next to him in the audience along with the rest of the staff. She made sure to look both modest and sexy at the same time just for this occasion! On the other side was Hizashi, in tears, an absolute blubbering mess... he could also get for a less... yellow outfit in Shotas' honest opinion. It looked too... All Might to him.
This was an important day, for all of the UA staff. Not only was this a graduation ceremony. It was THE graduation ceremony!
"Aizawa Sue!"
Aizawas' lip quivered hearing that name. He watched on as Surebu moved along the stage, smile overtaking her face. She stopped by Nezu and looked down at him as he held up the parchment stating she is no longer a student at UA, stating she had completed her schooling here.
Nezu waited a moment, noting how Surebu made no efforts to take the certificate and gently waved it at her. This earned a few snickes along the crowd. Surebu gave out a tiny hum and she moved to kneel on the ground, then sat down. Once again, people had to stifle their laughter. Nezus' face changed to one of slight annoyance. He had hoped she wouldn't make this into a joke, but he'd expected it. What he hadn't expected was for her to wrap her arms around him in a tight hug, whispering her thanks to the other.
The room fell silent as they all watched her slowly pull away, grab the certificate before giving him a small kiss on the forhead and getting up, joining the rest of those who'd already gotten their certificate.
There was a momentary pause as Nezu tried to gather himself desperately and continuing with the ceremony.
"Our little Sue!" Hizashi yelled out seeing the girl among the crowd. She poked her head up to look for the voice, almost like a mere cat, causing Aizawa to chuckle at the thought. Her face lit up upon seeing the adults and she quickly gave Tetsue a little peck on the tip of his nose before running up to her parents.
"Papa! Dad!" The girl yelled out, waving at the two as she made her way over to them. Hizashi opened his arms, running up to her as well. The two collided in a sweet embrace, Hizashi picking the girl up and spinning her slightly. Surebu let out a little chuckle as she was being swung around ever so gently.
Once the blond put her down, she glanced over to Aizawa with the biggest smile he'd ever seen. He couldn't help the overwhelming feeling of happiness and accomplishment he'd felt seeing how far this girl had come, and she did it herself! He may have led the horse to water, but she had chosen to drink.
"You're thinking of something weird, aren't you?" The girl asked, now standing directly in front of him, bonking him on the head with her graduation cap. The man's eyes went wide, realising he'd let his mind wonder and got distracted. Yet he found himself smiling fondly, pulling the girl in for a hug.
"You already know the answer to that, don't you?"
"Yeah. Still nice to ask, though."
He let out a low chuckle, grip tightening before he let go. The two shared a smile for a moment, glad to be sharing this experience. Only for Nezu to break up their peace.
"Sue! I'd like to talk to you for a moment!" The group glanced down at the school principal, not one sure when or where he came from, but none where dumb enough to question.
"If this is about hugging you so suddenly, I'm sorry-"
"No. Come. We should talk in private," he'd stated it so matter of factly that it had Surebu feeling a little uneasy.
The girl did as she was told, following the rat through the school and back up to his office. Once the two sat at the desk, just the two of them, Nezu sighed.
"Sue... you've been with us for years now. Living in our dormitory, being raised by the staff of the school. You've been adopted by one of said staff, too. Yet I am left asking one thing... Sue..." the rat leaned forwards ever so slightly, almost scared to continue to ask the next question. "Do you have any idea for your future?"
The room was silent as the two looked between each other. Surebu blinked, breaking eye contact and looking to the desk. This made Nezu feel uneasy as he let out a troubled sigh.
"I want to be a mum."
The man's eyes widened at this statement. He looked at the girl in front of him, freshly graduated, and her one goal for her future was... that?
"Sue-"
"Not just a mother. No. I don't want to just bear the child. I want to raise it. Teach it. Aid it in any way I can. I want to be a mum. A better one than I was given. One that won't care how scary the quirk, or dangerous. I want to love my children unconditionally, and I want them to know that!"
Surebu glances back up to her principal with a determined gleam in her eye. Nezu hummed hearing this, seeming to understand her logic, but still wanted her to accomplish more, to want to accomplish more!
"I want MY children, Nezu!" Those words sent a chill down the rats spine. He didn't know what caused such a reaction, but he'd suddenly felt as though he had picked up a stray cub, and its mother was watching from the bushes.
