Lisa said softly, "You don't like Big Sister, but you like Big Brother Jungkook, right?"
Little Hyunjin knew who Jungkook was. He heard someone calling his name during the fire.
His black eyes suddenly became focused. He looked at Lisa as though he was asking her where the Big Brother was.
Lisa was right. She reached her hand out, wanting to stroke little Hyunjin on his head, but he avoided her hand.
Lisa did not get upset. Candies in her hand, she gave a piece to Grandma Yu right in front of little Hyunjin. With a sweet smile, she said, "Have some candies, Grandma."
Grandma Yu smiled so much that her eyes turned into slits. "I'm old. I don't need candies. Just give them to Hyunie."
"I have many more." Lisa opened up her palm and showed them to Grandma Yu.
There were a few orange-flavored candies on the girl's fair and soft palm. There were little drawings of oranges on the candy wrappers. They were delicate and cute.
It was the first time Grandma Yu was offered candies by someone younger than her. She smiled and accepted the candy.
Lisa turned to look at little Hyunjin and also handed him a piece of candy. "I will tell you where Big Brother is after you have a piece of candy."
Little Hyunjin reached his hand out slowly. He grabbed a piece of candy from Lisa's plam and held it in his.
Lisa's eyes curved. Smiling, she said, "Go ahead and eat it. Do you need me to unwrap it for you?"
Little Hyunjin lowered his head and unwrapped the piece of candy clumsily. An orange-yellow piece of translucent candy appeared in his little hand.
He slowly put it inside his little mouth, and he tasted sweetness.
Lisa's smile brightened. She told Little Hyunjin, "Big Brother is at work right now. He is working hard to make money to support Big Sister."
Little Hyunjin looked at her quietly with the piece of candy in his mouth.
Lisa lowered her voice. "If at all possible, Big Sister and Big Brother will help you find your mom."
Suddenly, the sound of slippers smacking against the ground came from inside the black metal door.
Lisa looked more serious. She knew that Dahai had exited his place.
She shoved the few remaining pieces of candies into the pocket of Little Hyunjin's dirty, beat-up shirt and put them away for him. "Big Sister has to go. Don't let your father find the candies."
When Lisa got up onto her feet, she quickly stroked him on his head before the little boy could react. The little boy's hair was fine and soft.
"Bye for now, Little Hyunjin."
Lisa also said goodbye to Grandma Yu, who was still there with them. "Bye, Grandma."
Grandma Yu saw the girl walking away quickly before she could react.
The black door opened.
Dahai still smelled like alcohol. Burping, he kicked little Hyunjin with his foot. "Why are you standing there like a piece of wood? Are you coming in or not?" Having said that, he reached out to grab the child.
With Little Hyunjin's little body, there was no way he could match Dahai's strength.
When he turned, Dahai happened to spot a skinny body in a pink dress in front of him. She was so pretty that he reflexively paid her some attention.
Grandma Yu did not mention anything and watched as Sng Dahai brought Little Hyunjin back home.

Lisa went over to pick up Jungkook as usual after she left the alleyway.
Jungkook had already been waiting for her, and standing next to him was Taehyung.
Jungkook's eyes lit up when he saw Lisa there. He quickly got inside the car.
After something occurred to him, Taehyung called out to Lisa from outside of the car and said, "Miss Kim, Young Master Jungkook had successfully completed the machine learning codes today."
If it was their team, it would probably take them over three months to complete the project. Jungkook, however, was able to complete it alone in half the time. The remaining data collection and mainframe were someone else's work.
Not one person on their team did not look up to him.
They must admit that when one door was closed for Jungkook, another one was opened for him.
"Young Master Jungkook is truly amazing," said Taehyung sincerely.
Lisa was very proud when she heard someone complimenting Jungkook. Smiling, she said, "He has always been amazing."
Jungkook had no feelings toward what Taehyung had said about him, but when he heard that Lili was complimenting him, his pitch-black eyes lit up instantly. "Amazing me."
Lisa smiled and pulled out the last piece of candy from her purse, unwrapped it, and put it inside Jungkook's mouth. "Here is a reward for you."
Jungkook did not like candies, but he liked the one that was fed to him by Lili.
That night, after Jungkook was sound asleep, Lisa handed 1,000 little suns to Lee Know.
When she opened up her eyes again, she noticed that she was somewhere unfamiliar.
She knew that Jungkook would be somewhere around there. She studied her surroundings carefully and noticed that it actually looked somewhat familiar.
Lisa was about to go look for Jungkook when she suddenly saw Song Dahai. He looked drunk, and he had Little Hyunjin in one hand and a rod in another. He was dragging Little Hyunjin toward a trash can toward the end of the block.
