When Lisa stood up, she rotated the emperor green jade bracelet on her wrist. The bracelet made her wrist look so delicate that nobody could take their eyes away from it.
Eunha and her mother stared intensely at the jade bracelet, wishing that they could rip it from Lisa and put it on themselves.
"Go right ahead. I had always thought that you were stupid. Now I realized that you are not only stupid but also brainless," said Lisa, pushing a dagger into their hearts slowly. "Mom dotes on me a lot. The clothes and jewelry that I am wearing right now were all from her. This bracelet that you have been ogling at is just one of the many pieces of jewelry that I own.
"She told me that she loves me as if I am her own."
"Oh right, she even gave me a Jungkook's subsidiary card. It has no limit."
"What do you think her reaction will be if I am to go home and tell her that I have already severed my ties with the Jung's?"
The very next second, Lisa successfully drove Eunha and Mother Jung mad from both anger and jealousy, making their eyes red.
Before they could say anything, Lisa had already taken off.
She was protected by the two bodyguards sent by the Jeon family. Eunha was green with envy, and her throat felt bitter. The Jeon's truly doted on Lisa.
Having successfully severed ties with the Lin family and driven Eunha and her mother to the point of vomiting blood from anger, Lisa returned home happily.
Back at the Jeon's.
She had just walked inside when she heard a milky little boy's voice. "I am looking for Big Brother Jungkook."
Looking happy, Lisa walked inside and saw Little Hyunjin sitting on the couch.
There was a man and a woman that she was not familiar with sitting inside the living room, chatting with Mother Jeon.
"You are back, Lali?" Mother Jeon said with a smile, "Let me introduce you. This is my daughter-in-law, Lisa."
Mother Jeon then said to Lisa. "This is my cousin Hwang Inyeop. He would be an uncle of yours. This is my cousin-in-law, Hoyeon. You can address her as Aunty."
"Last but not the least, this is their son, Hyunjin. She is Kook's cousin."
Lisa didn't let it show on her, but she was shocked.
Little Hyunjin had found his parents?
She walked over. As though she could see the question in Lisa's eyes, Mother Jeon sighed and said, "Little Hyunjin had a rough childhood. He was kidnapped at a very young age."
Hoyeon's cousin was the mastermind behind Little Hyunjin's kidnapping. She had depended on Hoyeon and stayed at their house for a little while. She was clouded by the Song family's wealth and had also fallen for the gentlemanly Inyeop.
She tried to seduce Inyeop when Hoyeon was out one day, but Inyeop wasn't one to stray from his wife. His wife was the love of his life. He told his wife the incident, so she could handle it however she saw fit.
Not surprisingly, she kicked her cousin out.
Enraged and wanting to get even, the cousin orchestrated the kidnapping of their child so that Hoyeon and Inyeop would regret what they had done.
Later on, after the Hwang family had contacted the police and search parties were sent out, the cousin had no choice but to go into hiding with the child.
She had wanted to get rid of the child, but she worried that she would have no leverage if the Song family discovered that she was the person behind his kidnapping. She was afraid of the consequences that would befall her.
Later on, she met Hwang Dahai and thought she had finally found her own happiness. Lo and behold, shortly after they had gotten married, Hwang Dahai made a serious mistake at work and was fired. He turned into an alcoholic, who loved to beat her up.
After sustaining a serious injury once, she packed her things and ran off, leaving the burden Hyunjin behind to become Hwang Dahai's problem.
