The very next second Jungkook saw that gigantic chandelier come crashing down, and it was about to hit Lisa. His heart jumped all of a sudden, and before he realized what he was doing, he already had Lisa in his arms, trying to veer to one side and avoid the chandelier.

However, the chandelier fell before they could get out of its way.

Lisa felt Jungkook's body tense while holding her tightly. She could hear his low and deep grunt.

"Jungkook."

The boy, pushed aside, was so frightened that he was bawling.

All he knew was that he saw something falling from above and shattering on the floor.

Lisa quickly broke free from Jungkook's arms and went to check his back. "Are you hurt?"

Lisa's hand that was pulling up Jungkook's shirt was trembling. She didn't have to worry about getting hurt. As long as she did not die, even if she got hurt, she would heal when she returned to her invisible state.

"I don't need you saving me, Jungkook. You just need to protect yourself," said Lisa, her heart aching and worrying about him as always.

Jungkook's back was red from the impact earlier, and toward the back side of his waist, he had a cut from the metal edge of the chandelier. There a small piece of his skin was scraped off, and he was starting to bleed.

Lisa was shocked. So he was still hurt after all, and at the same spot no less.

She wasn't able to alter the fact that he had gotten hurt.

"Must protect Odd Big Sister." Jungkook did not feel pain. He was, however, feeling a little shy because Odd Big Sister had lifted up his clothes.

Upon hearing that, Lisa gave Jungkook a profound look. His feelings for her were so pure that she could feel a fire igniting in her chest and a tingling in her eyes.

What was she to do? She liked him so much.

Lisa noticed that his wound was a little deep, but she didn't have anything with her that could help him at the moment. They would have to hurry to the hospital to treat his wound.

"Let's get out of here." Lisa frowned deeply. The fire was burning more intensely.

She walked over to the little boy. "It's alright. You can stop crying now. Big Sister will take you to your parents."

The boy looked to be around 5 to 6 years old. His features were delicate, and he still has his baby fat, making him look very cute.

The little boy ignored Lisa and continued to bawl. He almost looked like he was shrieking from fear.

"Are you scared?" Lisa reached out to him, wanting to hold his hand and calm him down. Nevertheless, the boy avoided her hand and wouldn't let her touch him. He just kept on crying.

Lisa was a little surprised.

Jungkook, seeing that the little boy was ignoring Lisa, scolded the little boy with a monotonous tone. "Stop crying!"

The crying little boy came to an abrupt halt as soon as Jungkook told him too. He sniffled a few times before miraculously stopped crying.

The little boy would listen to Jungkook for some reason.

"Okay. No more crying. Good boy. Let's hurry up and get out of here." Lisa worried that more incidents would take place if they stayed longer. She wanted to get out of the hotel with Jungkook as soon as possible.

The boy would not let Lisa hold his hand. Instead, he walked over to Jungkook voluntarily and hugged his thigh.

Lisa, "......"

Jungkook frowned, and his lips pinched shut. It was obvious that he did not like to be touched by anyone other than Lisa.

"He likes you, Jungkook." Lisa chuckled. "Why don't you hold his hand?"

Hearing what Odd Big Sister had said, Jungkook reluctantly held the little boy's chubby little hand. This time the little boy did not avoid the hand and obediently let Jungkook hold onto him.

The little meaty hand was soft, squishy, and small. Jungkook frowned. He only liked to hold Odd Big Sister's hand.

Lisa dashed out with the man and the boy.

More and more people had escaped the building. The 7th floor was enveloped in the fire, and if they had tried to escape any later, they would not have been able to make it out.
