211.Yeri, have you met Young Mistress Kim's husband? (2)

Lisa walked over to Old Mr. Kim and attracted the attention of everyone there. Many of them were so stunned that they even held their breath.

Who was it that said Young Master Nan was ugly?

Was that person blind? Did they not see that Young Master Lisa was so pretty that she was glowing?

And then there was that face. Her features were so delicate that not plastic surgery could accomplish that.

Many of the wealthy young generation had lost interest when they heard that Old Mr. Kim's new found granddaughter was ugly. They were merely here out of respect for Old Mr. Kim and didn't have much thought about Young Mistress Kim.

And, now, their ideas had flipped entirely.

Many of the guests had already rushed up and greeted Lisa in polite and gentlemanly manner.

Old Mr. Kim did not stop them. All of the young men from the prominent families here, each one of them was better than the Lu's younger son.

He had already had his men looked into it. When his granddaughter married into the Jeon family, the Jung's and the Jeon's had signed a contract. Two years later, as long as Lisa wanted to have a divorce, she was free to go.

From Old Mr. Kim's perspective, Jungkook was not a good fit for Lisa with his condition. As there was a contract between them, getting a divorce should be very easy.

Granted, he would first consult with his granddaughter and her feelings about it was the first and foremost.

As far as Old Mr. Kim was concerned, his granddaughter was the best thing under the sun and that nobody was good enough for her, let alone Jungkook with his autism.

Lisa did not grow up with the Kim's. The Kim's owed her a lot and Old Mr. Kim only wanted to give her the best of everything. From this point forward, all she needed was to be doted upon.

Jungkook, however, with his autism, knew nothing and understood nothing. He may not even be able to take care of himself, let alone take care of Lisa.

Seeing all these young men from prominent families who were interested in Lisa, Old Mr. Kim was very pleased. He would have to pick carefully after Lisa and Jungkook's divorce.

Before Lisa had made her debut, everyone was waiting for the drama about the new Young Mistress Kim; and now, they felt that they were the fools.

Sure enough, rumors were not to be trusted.

"Weren't you just asking me what Big Sister Lili looks like?" Yeri looked around at the wealthy ladies surrounding her and said, "Well, now you saw."

Yeri was happy secretly. She knew what they were thinking. They were waiting for Lisa to show her face, size her up secretly, and to take her down a notch."

One of the ladies smiled and said, "I wonder who was so evil to spread the rumor that she was unattractive and ugly. A lot of people had bought into it."

Another lady also wiped away her stunned looked. Looking at Lisa's overly attractive face, she felt a little jealous. "I guess the part that she was from some remote countryside was also a lie?"

"Of course it's a lie. Big Sister Lili grew up in City B," said Yeri. "And she's married."

"She's married?"

"I've asked her about that as well. Why would she want to get married so early?"

Before the Young Mistress Kim returned to the Kim's, her options for men were probably very limited and definitely would not measure up to these men from prestigious families.

So what if the Young Mistress Kim was very pretty? She was already married and just an average man at that. Why else would her husband not be here tonight?

As they thought about it, someone asked, "Yeri, have you met Young Mistress Kim's husband?"

"No, I asked Big Sister Lili before whether her husband will be here tonight and she said he would not be able to make it." Yeri felt regretful about that. She was very curious what kind of a man would be good enough for her.

Lisa stayed next to Old Mr. Kim the entire time and there were people going up to her constantly to greet her. A few bolder ones would even ask for Lisa's contact information right in front of Old Mr. Kim. They would become even more enthusiastic when they noticed that Old Mr. Kim did not object to that.

Many who were waiting for Lisa to embarrass herself were disappointed times and again. They were secretly surprised. The Young Mistress Kim was decorous and articulate. She held her own well even in front of some seasoned old foxes (*cunning people).

The crowd came to the realization that this Young Mistress Kim was not a shallow person and definitely not the crude and greedy person that was rumored.

She was every bit as good as any of the ladies present, if not better.

Lisa had completed overturned the guests initial impression of her.
