Mother Jeon found it comical when she saw the shock on Lisa's little delicate face. "Why are you so surprised? I know that you younger generation don't care for arranged dates, but I have met this Miss Lee before when she was a child. She was very cute. Perhaps the two would hit it off."
"Kook and you are married. Mingyu can't just remain single forever. As his mother, I've got to help nudge things along." She had, after all, raised him.
Mingyu was still single?
It finally dawned on Lisa that things had changed again. This time around, Eunha did not marry Mingyu!
Could it be because of what had happened in the alleyway?
At that very moment, Lisa's phone rang. She silenced the call when she saw that the caller was Eunha.
The caller called again, and Lisa silenced it again.
Eunha texted her: I have something important to talk about. Come home now. Or else.
Lisa's lips curved upward. She thought about it some before she replied. "Okay."
Suddenly, she was quite curious about what Eunha was up to now without marrying into the Jeon family.
Lisa could feel the urgency from Eunha's end after she responded back to the text. Nevertheless, she took her time enjoying breakfast with Jungkook and Mother Jeon before she returned to her room to get dressed.
Lisa's closet was completely full. They were all the latest styles of clothes, shoes, and jewelry that Mother Jeon had gotten for her.
Lisa picked out a light fog blue dress. Her skin was fair, so dressing in color like that made her look even fairer. She looked magical.
The tapering at the waistline made her waist seem slender, and her two legs below the skirt looked long and straight. She was so pretty that nobody could look away from her.
She even put on the emperor green jade bracelet that was given to her by Mother Jeon.
The more traditional jade bracelet usually looked better on an elderly person. Nevertheless, since Lisa was fair, almost any color would look good on her. Like the light fog blue dress, the almost translucent bright green bracelet made her wrist look fair.
After she was done changing, Lisa did not apply any makeup. Her skin was already good. The makeup would only hinder her natural beauty.
She did, however, pull out a new color of lipstick and applied it lightly. The lipstick was an orange-reddish color, almost resembling sweet, liquid honey, which made her look very spirited.
At the same time, Jungkook walked inside the closet. He, too, was already dressed and was about to head out to work.
Lisa smacked her lips together after she had applied the lipstick before looking over at Jungkook. "Are you heading out?"
Jungkook nodded docilely. "It's time."
He looked at Lisa's little mouth. They were red and glistening. They were very pretty.
He wanted to kiss her.
Lisa walked over to him. The hem of her dress floated in the air as she walked. It was mesmerizing, like ripples in a quiet lake. She then sweetly told him, "Have a safe trip."
Jungkook's pitch-black eyes looked at Lisa, dazed. He felt that Lisa was particularly pretty today.
"What's the matter?" asked Lisa with a smile.
Jungkook's lips were pinched shut. His beautiful cherry-blossom eyes dimmed.
Lisa saw his Adam's apple roll up and down. She couldn't help but chuckle. "You want to kiss me?"
Jungkook nodded honestly. "Want kiss Lili." His look was too straightforward. There was no disguise.
He had a dream last night. He remembered that Lili disappeared right when he was about to kiss her.
There was a dull feeling in his chest, as though a little beast was crying there. It could only be quelled by kissing Lili.
Lisa's eyes turned into crescent moons. Her black eyes were limpid. She shook her head. "Not right now. I just put lipstick on."
Lisa's reflection was in Jungkook's eyes. He looked at her eagerly. "Gone, I put on Lili."
I can put some on Lili's lips again after it's gone.
Jungkook had been recovering well. He could offer up solutions to problems now.
Lisa was humored by him. She wrapped her arms around Jungkook's waist and said, "You have never done that before."
Jungkook was super smart now. He responded immediately. "Lili teach me. I learn from Lili."
Having said that, his large palm had already reached behind Lisa impatiently and brought her toward himself. He was no longer that inexperienced newbie. He would no longer bump into Lisa's teeth.
The honey-orange lipstick was eaten bit by bit, and the original red color of the lips showed.
