255.Jungkook was very upset. (3)

After the performance was over, applause rang throughout the auditorium.

Lisa retreated and quickly got out of her costume backstage.

"Where are you going, Lisa?" Rosè saw Lisa change out of her costume quickly and was about to head out.

"My family is here. I want to go talk to them."

"We will be grabbing some late-night snacks to celebrate tonight. Will you be joining us?" Rosè looked at Lisa with anticipation. Many had asked her about Lisa, and now that Lisa was well-known in school, she had overshadowed the Beauty Queen.

Lisa had always been a lowkey person. However, with looks like hers her brilliance could never be hidden as long as she appeared in front of others.

Lisa shook her head. "No, I'll pass. I want to spend time with my family."

There was a puppy out there in need of her comfort.

Once everyone had seen the evil stepsister, all the performances after that had been overshadowed.

The brown-haired boy tapped Jackson on his hand and said, "No wonder you like Lisa and not the Beauty Queen. Here I thought you had eye problems for walking away from the Beauty Queen. I now know that I was wrong."

The Beauty Queen wasn't much to speak of when compared to Lisa.

Jackson gave him a cold look. "Have you not had enough to eat tonight? There wasn't enough food to keep your mouth shut?"

The brown-haired boy rubbed his nose. He was just about to shut his mouth when he inadvertently caught sight of a slender figure.

He was so shocked that he immediately tugged at Jackson's sleeve. "Look over there quickly."

About to lose his patience, Jackson just wanted to shut him up.

"It's...... it's Lisa."

Jackson immediately turned to look. Sure enough, the pretty girl walking towards their direction was Lisa.

His heart skipped a beat uncontrollably.

Next to him, Jungkook, too, reacted when he heard Lisa's name. He raised his head and looked for her with his pitch-black eyes.

He spotted Lisa quickly, and she was walking in his direction.

"Brother Wang, it's Lisa, and she is walking in this direction. I am sure she's here looking for you." The brown-haired boy was very emotional.

There was a hint of nervousness on Jackson's fair face. He looked at the girl walking toward him, dazed. His throat felt a little dry.

Jungkook glared at the boys next to him, displeased. Lili wasn't here looking for them.

Lisa had already changed out of her costume. She had on a light blue dress, which further accentuated her fair skin. She was so dazzling that others could not take their eyes off of her.

Lisa attracted a lot of attention as she walked over. Especially after the others recognized her as the evil stepsister earlier. Everybody started talking about it.

Lisa saw that more little black clouds with lighting were popping into the indicator above Jungkook's head.

She hastened her steps.

When she had gotten closer, the others noticed that she was even prettier up close. Her nose was small and delicate, her lips red and plump. Even her eyes were limpid and looked like they were adorned by fragments of stars.

The brown-haired boy couldn't help but nudge Jackson, urging him to get ready to greet Lisa.

Not getting a response, he turned and looked over his direction. The brown-haired boy saw that there was shyness and nervousness on Jackson's clean and fair handsome face. He looked very different from his usual cold self.

Lisa walked over. Right when Jackson's handsome face blushed and he didn't know what to say or do, Lisa had already walked past him to go to the one seated next to him.

"Jungkook."

Jackson heard Lisa calling out to the quiet boy in the red hoodie softly.

He looked over, stunned. All the boys next to him were also stunned.

Lisa didn't come looking for Brother Wang?

There was discontentment and possessiveness in Jungkook's pitch-black eyes. He reached out, held Lisa's wrists, and pulled her to sit down on the other side of him intentionally so that nobody else could see Lili.

After she had sat down, Lisa saw Mother Jeon turning around, and she called out to her with a smile, "Mom."

Then Old Mr. Kim and Old Mrs. Lee, too, turned to look at her.

Lisa sweetly greeted her grandfather and grandmother, too.
