"Go away. Do I need someone else's used clothes?" The man, referred to as the boss, gave Mingyu a kick. "What other valuable goods do you have on you? Better hand them over now."

With a jacket over his head, Mingyu grunted from being kicked. "I'm the First Young Master of the Jeon family. Do not dare to touch me."

Hearing what Mingyu had said, Lisa was pretty certain that he was drunk. Why else would he be stupid enough to volunteer that information?

She then saw the so-called boss kick Mingyu twice more. "You are the First Young Master of the Jeon's? Well, I'm your dad."

Mingyu grunted, and through gritted teeth, he threatened, "Do not ever let me find out who you are. I will never let you get away with this."

Lisa could hear the gloominess in his voice. He meant what he said. For someone who resembled a poisonous snake, Mingyu would never let a prey slip away without taking a bite once he had his target locked.

"Like I have never heard that before. So you want to threaten us? You two. Show him what it means to not let anyone get away." The boss man hated nothing more than being threatened. Mingyu's words aggravated him more than they had intimidated him.

In the blink of an eye, Lisa saw Mingyu being beaten to a pulp.

Grunting continued to be heard in the alleyway.

Under the dim light around them, Lisa could see Mingyu being kicked repeatedly onto the ground violently.

Lisa was quite impressed by Mingyu to a certain degree. He was being pinned down and beaten up by two men, but he was still able to fight back. Not only that. He also gritted his teeth and never once did he shout out nor plead for mercy.

Standing at the entrance of the alleyway, Lisa's dark eyes were bright.

To save Mingyu?

Lisa would never have such a kind thought. All she wanted was to have a bag of nuts and seeds with her, while she watched Mingyu being beaten up.

In fact, she even purposefully kept an eye out for these people. She worried that passersby would interrupt their beating up Mingyu.

"Boss, this guy has strong bones. He never once shouted out or pleaded for mercy," said one of the men with a smile.

The boss man was counting the money that they had gotten from Mingyu, looking quite pleased. "Ask him for the code to his bank cards."

"Did you hear that? Our boss is asking you for your code." The man next to Mingyu gave him another kick. "Hurry up and tell us, and we will let you go."

Mingyu was never one to be threatened. He snickered and didn't care that these men were still beating him up.

More grunting followed.

Lisa was happy all over again. Finally, she was able to witness Mingyu in bad shape. It looked like violence needed to be met with violence for someone like Mingyu to learn.

At that moment, she saw someone appearing not too far from them.

The person was skinny and wearing a white dress. She walked toward them slowly.

Lisa was bummed that someone was walking over. She could only hope that the person would not meddle.

The skinny body got closer bit by bit, and under the blinking street lights, Lisa saw a familiar face, shocking her to the core.

It was a face that she had been looking at day in and day out. It was someone that nobody knew better than she did.

It was her.

Well, to be more specific, it was the real Lisa.

Under the dim light, Lisa saw that the original owner was pale. Her delicate features were not as vibrant as they should have been. It looked like Eunha had already started sucking away her halo.

She had asked Lee Know in the past what would happen if she ran into herself, the original owner. Could she clue her into the truth, so that Eunha would not be able to kill her?

Lee Know hemmed and hawed and only told her the truth after Lisa had inquired about it persistently. Lee Know said that the original owner, who had died, was no longer in this dimension as Lisa had already taken over the body.

Meaning, she had already completely swapped identities with the original owner. In addition, Lee Know had let her in on the fact that the original owner was very happy with her new identity and would not want to return to this world.
