RAINA DECIDED THAT TYLER WASN'T SO BAD. He was far too devoted to Klaus for her liking but as long as the subject was avoided, they were alright. The sound of a phone ringing distracted her from her thoughts. By now, all the patrons of the had been compelled into blissful obliviousness.
Raina was seated on the lap of a young man- she hadn't bothered to learn his name while she drank from him. She allowed Tyler to share, the hybrid was seated behind the man and drank from the other side of his neck. The sound of her phone ringing drew her out of her euphoria and she reluctantly drew her fangs away. Her good mood was further dashed against the rocks when she realised who the call was from and who else it went to.
Tyler glanced up at her, giving her an inquisitive look at her scowl. Raina just shook her head, mentally preparing herself for the annoyances that were Stefan Salvatore and Klaus.
"Portland is fantastic. Once you get over all the whiny music and healthy looking people, it is literally a breeding ground for werewolves." Klaus said, clearly in a good mood. "I was having an excellemt time. Must you ruin it even from thousands of meters away?" Raina sighed irritably. Stefan ignored them both "Your father is dead" he stated bluntly. "Yes i know, what of it?" Raina replied, Klaus on the other hand was more offended "What did you say to me?"
"Oh, my mistake. Not your actual father and not dead. Mikael. Daggered. What do you want me to do with the body?" That gave both the originals pause. Raina slid off the man's lap, making her way to the nearest glass of alcohol. She had a feeling she might need it. "Well, first I want you to explain to me exactly what happened" Klaus said.
Raina found that she was right as Stefan narrated his tale of Mikael following Elena into the Salvatore house to use her as bait. But then they managed to vervain him. Raina made her disbelief due to her contempt for the Salvatores' abilities very clear but Klaus still wanted to hear Stefan out. Then Stefan went on to explain how they found a dagger which he planned to use on Rebekah, but instead they drove it through his heart.
"That" She began "Is the greatest load of bullshit I have ever heard in my entire life. You lot are amongst the most pathetic people I have ever met and yet you claim to have defeated the one person-" The one person I have ever feared she thought "Who created the vampire species" she said instead.
"I wanna see him. I want to see his rotting body for myself" Klaus declared. "Don't tell me you actually buy-" Raina let out an annoyed hiss when Stefan interrupted her "Well, he is here. Come by whenever"
"If you are lying to us Stefan, your compulsion will expose you. So, answer with your life: Is what you are saying the truth?" Klaus asked. Raina thought asking was a waste because how could it ever be true? "It's true. I saw it with my own eyes" cams Stefan's confident reply. Raina paused, taking a large gulp of tequila.
