"When I was a boy father would let me sit here with him and at times would even let me place a piece of the model down." Aegon explains while swaying slightly, his eyes red and puffy making Ellyn shudders at the sight of her son before reaching over "My son. You need rest. You cannot become sleep deprived."

Aegon continues to sway and chuckles slightly that leads to more tears entering his eyes "During one of his council meetings I had snuck in here and had stolen a simple soldier so that I could paint him. A few days later I came to him with a gift and presented it to him proudly. His hair was dark and his clothing red. It was meant to be a gift to show my acceptance of Rhaenyra's sons. I remember the look of horror on his face before I fell to the ground. I didn't care about the fact that my tooth was knocked out of my mouth or that the stone piece had broken but rather that my father rather than feeling remorse for his actions instead looked disgusted before he yelled for me to leave him."

Ellyn says nothing allowing Aegon to continue "For days I would walk past his chambers hoping that by some luck he would open his door and welcome me with open arms until one day I watched Rhaenyra leave his room with my model claiming it would make a lovely gift for her bastards." Aegon then walks over to the dying fire and grips the iron rod fire poker tightly before making his way back "That bitch stole everything from me. My father could not spare a single glance my way unless it was one of anger or disgust and yet would look at her with pride and joy to the point that I felt as if I had a different father than her, and now after Aemond took justice against that murdering bastard she sends daggers in the dark to kill my son, my baby boy. I'LL KILL THEM!" Aegon yells before bringing down the fire poker onto Viserys' stone model of Old Valyria cracking the wall before swinging it again knocking a tower over shattering on the ground "Villains and traitors the lot of them!" The volcano Viserys built first cracks and topples over as he yells "THEY DARE STRIKE AT ME!"

"Your grace please" Lord Thaddeus starts only for Aegon to turn to him with the raised poker and crazed eyes "I AM THE KING!" Thaddeus steps back and Aegon swings the poker hard splintering the table and the model's foundation "THIS IS WAR!! I DECLARE WAR!!" 

Ellyn rushes out from the room making her way towards the small council chambers entering as her brother steps forward "The gates have been locked and the servants of the keep are being questioned as we speak." Robin speaks up placing his gold cloak helmet on the table and Ellyn pinches the bridge of her nose as she takes her seat feeling her heart race as the doors slam open and Aegon enters with a dark look on his face while Lord Thaddeus follows with a sad look on his own face.

"And where were the members of this council while the murderer threatened their king?" Aegon demands angrily and Tyland gently asks "Were you also threatened, Your Grace?" Aegon storms up to the Lannister and smashes a glass of wine on the floor "I could have been!" He then makes his way to the head of the table and glares at every member of the council and yells "My son is my legacy! My son is heir to the Iron Throne!" He then glares at Criston and sneers "And where were my Kingsguard?" 

Criston bows his head low and calmly states "Ser Erryk was with you your grace and I was with Prince Aemond. I was then dismissed by Ser Hugh and was abed." Aegon scoffs and slams his fist onto the table "And where is Ser Hugh now hm? I named him my Lord Commander and he cannot protect my wife and children!"

"Ser Hugh is leading the search for the brigands along with your uncle Robyn." Ellyn explains and Thaddeus spits out harshly "There would be no need for a hunt if the guard protecting the queen was at his post."
