Will you miss me when I'm gone?

•Chapter 23•

*after birth*

"You have beautiful twins!" The doctor says.

"Twins?!" Preston and I say shocked.

"Yes would you like to hold them?"

The doctor hands me the girl and Preston the boy. Preston's eyes are glowing, I think he's tearing up a bit.

"Hi Ryker, I'm your dad." Preston smiles.

I almost what the child to have this ratchet voice and just be like

YOURE NOT MY DAD.

But that can't happen because he's not even an hour old and Preston is his dad. I look at Aurora. It almost looks like she's smiling.

"They're beautiful." A nurse says.

"Thank you." Preston says.

"Hey Preston." I say.

"Yeah?" He answers.

"We're parents."

"Yeah, we are."

He smiles.

*time skip out of the hospital*

Preston drives home and we get to the condo. I pick up one of the kids in their little seat things.

"No I got it." Preston says picking both the kids up.

I smile and take the diaper bag. We walk up to the condo and I open the door.

"SURPRISE!" The pack, Savanna and Alex yell.

"Ohmygosh guys!!" I squeal

"Come on we need to show you something." Jerome says taking my hand.

He walks me to the extra room Preston has in his condo. He opens the door. It's a nursery.

"Of course we will have to get another bed. Jeez you ruin everything." Jerome says joking.

I start to cry.

"Thank you so much." I say hugging Jerome.

Preston is about as shocked as I am but he's not crying. I hug everyone and go over to Preston.

"You guys are amazing" Preston says.

"We know." Mitch hairflips.

"Let's see themmmmm!!" Alex says excitedly.

"Okay" I laugh.

Preston puts the cradles up on the counter.

"The boy is Ryker and the girl is Aurora." I say.

"Preston! They have your eyes." Rob says.

It's true. They have big beautiful brown eyes, just like his.

" congratulations guys." Lachlan says.

Savanna hasn't had her baby yet. It could be any day now.

"Thanks bro." Preston says.

I text my mom and tell her to come over.

"Twins?!" My mom says shocked.

"Yeah." I laugh.

"Are you sure they're both yours?"

"Well they both came out of me soo..."

"They are beautiful. Don't tell your brother this but I already like your kids better."

There is a knock at the door. I walk over and open it. It's Preston's parents.

"Hi!" Jayne says hugging me. "Where are the little creatures!?"

"On the counter, surrounded by the baby faced men." I laugh.

"Hey Mara, I'm sorry for the way I acted when we met. I just thought Preston wasn't ready and I still don't think he is but I'll keep that to myself." His dad says.

"It's okay." I say.

We go over to the kids and they say the same thing

They're so beautiful

Normal baby stuff. The kids get fussy and everyone leaves. I give them formula and put them to bed.

I can't wait to start a family with Preston
