Will you miss me when I'm gone?

Chapter 44

I wake up and Preston's not there and I'm in my own bedroom.

"What? Why am I here?" I softly speak.

I walk downstairs and find my mom.

"Where is Preston?" I ask her.

"What do you mean silly? you haven't met him yet!" She says

"What? But we just got married yesterday. We made our loves vow to each other."

"You dream so wildly!"

She laughs and walks away.

Could that all have been a dream? So many years of happiness, just a dream?

I have to re-meet him today...

What if the same thing doesn't happen?

*** time skip ***

We walk into the convention and I meet up with Ashley Marie Gaming.

So far everything is going to plan.

I walk around for a good two hours and finally it's time for The Pack meetup.

I walk up and Preston and I's eyes don't connect.

"Hey what's your name?" Vikk asks me.

"Mara" I say shakily.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Rob winks at me.

No! This is terrible! Preston hasn't wen said one word to me!

"Hey there is an another meet up at 2:00 today you should totally come if you're up to it." Preston says.

"Yeah I would love to!" I smile back at him.

"Great, have a nice day and I'll see you at 2:00, Mara? Right?"

"Right, I'll see you later!"

The meet up I still have the meet up we might fall in love at the meet up.

*** time skip ***

I walk outside to the meet up and there is a bunch of fangirls. I walk over and join the crowd.

I'm just another fan. He didn't even notice me.

I start walking away when someone grabs my arm and turns me around.

It's Rob.

"Well that was rude, you didn't even say hi!" He jokes.

"Oh um hi." I give a shy smile.

"Is something wrong?"

"No I just have a headache" I lie

"Oh well I have some ibuprofen at the hotel room wanna come hangout?"

"Sure" I smile.

*** time skip ***

"So how long have you been watching our videos" rob asks while we walk inside.

"About four years" I smile

"Dangggg"

"Yeah"

He puts on netflix and we sit there awkwardly.  A few minutes later the door opens.

It's Preston.

I straighten up and smile at him.

"Hey rob who is thi- oh wait you're Mara from minecon right?" Preston says.

"You know my na-um it mean yep that's me" I say awkwardly.

"Roby are you trying to get the girllllll?"

"Shut up man" rob snaps

Wait does rob like me?

"Okay Preston you can leave now." Rob awkwardly laughs.

"Okay but remember kids, use protection!" Preston says walking out.

I sit back next to rob and cuddle into his chest.

Wait what am I doing?

He stiffens up but then gets relaxed and puts his arm around me.

"Hey, I think it's snowing." Rob says looking out the window from the couch. "Like a lot"

He gets up and I follow. There is probably a good 5 inches covering the ground.

"I don't want to sound creepy, but I think you're not gonna get home tonight. Do you need to call someone?" Rob asks me.

"Yeah can I use your phone?" I ask him.

He agrees and gives me his phone.

☀️ hello?
👸hey mom it's Mara
☀️ Mara? Who's phone are you on?
👸 robs. Um I'm gonna stay here tonight as you can probably tell it's snowing pretty badly and rob doesn't want to drive in it.
☀️ okay call me tomorrow
👸 okay thank you!

* end of call*

"She said it was alright." I smile at rob.

"That's great" he says wrapping his arm around m waist.

"Rob what are you doing?" I awkwardly laugh.

He kisses me on the lips and then backs away.

"I'm so sorry I jus-" I cut his off my kissing him.

"Woah" he smiles.

"Yeah" I smile back

Maybe this isn't so bad after all...
