Will you miss me when I'm gone?

Chapter 48

(Maras POV)

Rob wakes up before me so I get dressed. I put on one of his hoodies and a pair of ripped skinny jeans. I walk out to the kitchen and I see a note.

Its from Rob.

Dear Love,

Ran to town to grab a few things. Be back later. I love you to the moon and back

        Love, Roby <3

I set down the not and smile. The boys are still asleep on the couch so I decide to make some cereal and head back to Robs room. I decide to play some minecraft on robs computer under his name.

Let me tell you that was a bad idea.

Everyone started chasing me and spamming the chat. I got frustrated and got off.

I start to look around the room; looking at his pictures as random things.

"Hey is everything alright?" Preston says walking in.

"Hey yeah. I'm all good, why wouldn't I be?" I don't know you seen very distant from the rest of us."

"Oh well I don't know, I just am more comfortable around Rob I guess"

"Oh well if you ever want to talk to me you can."

His smile beams.  I start to melt.

"Okay" I giggle and look down.

"Hey" he smiles. "What are you looking down for?"

He picks up my chin and makes me look him in the eyes.

I blush and look down again.

"Mara look at me" he demands

I look at him.

"Listen, I like you. Like a lot." He states.

"Preston, I can't." I shake my head.

"Just one kiss, it's valentines day. Please"

"Fine"

He moves in for a kiss and out lips connect.

I start to get butterflies like the first time I met him in my dream.

He moves his hands to my waist and our lips move in sync.

I quickly snap back.

"Okay over. Done. Goodbye." I say starting to walk away

"Don't act like you didn't like it" he says grabbing my arm and pulling me close to him.

"I'm dating Rob, sorry" I say.

I break away from him and walk back into the living room.

A few seconds later rob opens the door with a medium sized box, a small box and a bouquet of flowers.

"Hey I missed you" I say giving him a side hug.

"I missed you too babe. Now sit down!! I got you something!" He says excitedly.

I sit down and rob sits the boxes and flowers down next to me.

"Okay first open this one" he says handing me the smaller box.

I smile at him and unwrap it.

It's a little German Shepard dog with a heart cut out where it would be in the dog.

"It's beautiful. Thank you." I say kissing him.

"Okay now this one." He says handing me the bigger one.

"Oh jeez it's heavy." I laugh.

He smirks at me.

I open the lid and a German Shepard puppy pops out and starts licking my face.

I start to cry.

"Robert..." I sob.

I crawl over to him and hug him.

"Shhh you don't have to say anything, you're welcome." He says rubbing my back and kissing my cheek.

"I love you so much, you didn't have to do this"

"I love you too princess."

"What are you gonna name him?" Preston asks.

"I'm thinking about Ryker" I say naming him after my son in the dream.

"I love that name. I want to name my son one day Ryker."

I kinda choke on my own saliva and look at him in shock.

"I love you" Rob says to me.

"I love you too" I smile and kiss him.

"Happy valentines day love"

I smile and put my head in the crook of his neck.

I couldn't ask for anything better...
