•Chapter 34•

I wake up and get dressed. Jeans and a white crop top. I walk out to the living room and turn on Netflix. I get a text from Kenny.

🐢 how did you sleep.
🐙 good you?
🐢 good but I was missing you.
🐙 awe I miss you too.
🐢 how are you and Preston...?
🐙 good... I'm moving back in with him today...

🐢 am I going to be invited to the wedding?
🐙 does a bear shit in the woods.
🐢 YAY when do you think it will be?
🐙 next year hopefully. We haven't really talked about it.

🐙 yeah Preston is FaceTimeing me I gotta go.

*end of conversation*

I answer the call from Preston. He's still in bed.

"Is there anyway you can get to my condo like now? With all your stuff?" He asks.

"Yeah I'll just ask Kenny.... Never mind...  Um yeah I think Lachlan is awake I'll ask him." I say.

"Okay."

He hangs up the phone that was weird.... I walk in the kitchen and Lachlan is eating cereal at the counter.

"Hey after I get all my stuff together do you think you could take me to the condo? " I ask him.

"Yeah I guess." He sighs.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing it's just that I feel like something else is going to happen and you're gonna get hurt really bad and I just feel like you would be safer with Kenny."

"Oh..."

"Yeah but I might be just over thinking. Let's get going."

I grab my clothes and computer stuff and we leave.

"So how are you." He says.

"I'm good you?" I say.

"Good, I think I'm going to ask Savanna to marry me."

"What? Legit?"

"Yeah."

He smiles. I know Savanna doesn't do relationships but it's been five years. But this is marriage. You have to be with the person for the Rest. Of. Your.  Life. I don't know what Savanna is going to say.

"Niceeee" I say.

"Yeah, I'm so nervous. I'm taking her to my favorite place in the woods. It has a little opening. I'm doing what Preston was planning to do pretty much."

"Oh sweet."

"Yeah"

The rest of the car ride was silent. We pull in the driveway and I get out.

"Do you need any help with your stuff?" Lachlan asks me.

"No I think I'm good. Thanks for the ride Lachy."

"Anytime. If you need anything text me."

"Okay"

I shut the door and walk into Preston's condo.

"Hey Preston I'm here!" I yell throughout the house.

"In here!" Preston says from in the bedroom.

I hear a few coughs. I walk into the room and I see Preston on the bed with a bunch of tissues around him. His big brown eyes are now pale and weak looking.

"I don't feel good." Preston says whimpering.

"Awe babe." I say sitting down on the bed.

I touch the side of his face. It's extremely warm. I feel his forehead and it's even warmer.

"Babe you're burning up." I say.

"Take care of me." He whines.

"I will but first we need to take you to the doctor."

"Ugh"

"I promise you'll feel better."

I kiss him on the cheek and call the doctor for an appointment.

"You have an appointment at 2:15 this afternoon." I tell him.

"What time is it now?" He asks

"8:45ish."

"Ughhh" he groans.

"I know." I say sitting on the bed.

"Can you make me feel better?"

"Preston I don't know how without medicine."

"Come cuddle with me."

"Fine" I laugh. "But look at me for a second."

I quickly take a pic and post it on Twitter.

Baby boy wants cuddles. He's not feeling very well 😞 Still love him tho 💕 and yes we made up. Love you so much @tbnrfrags hope you feel better soon 💕😘 *picture*

I lay down in bed next to Preston and he wraps his arms around me.

"Please don't get me sick." I laugh.

He kisses me.

"Oh so don't do that?" He smiles evilly.

"I swear to god Preston if I get sick." I laugh.

He laughs and puts his head in the crook of my neck. He falls asleep quickly. He's so weak when he's sick.  All he wants to do is sleep. I try to stay awake but I'm failing. I kiss Preston's cheek and my eyes slowly shut and I fall asleep.
