my happy marriage is a historical shojo romance manga turned anime that aired it's first season during the summer of 2023. it has just been announced that the series will receive a second season that will air on monday, january 6, 2025.
fans of the anime and kpop fans will be excited by the announcement today that the popular korean soloist ryun will preform the new opening theme song.
the idol herself commented on the news stating:
"after two years "my happy marriage" returns to fans with a new season featuring a new op from a new artist!
as a fellow fan of the first season of the anime, i am beyond honored to be chosen to bring this theme to fans!
me and my team have prepared a heartfelt love song that we hope expresses the complicated balance of love and power in miyo and kiyoka's relationship.
i sincerely hope that my song will bring happiness and excitement for the 2nd season of "my happy marriage"!"
the singer's japanese tour, ryun presents "the heart of love" in japan, will begin just days after the release of the anime. she will preform ten concert shows across japan. tickets for all locations have sold out!
this will be ryun's first venture into the realm of anime soundtracks, but we have a feeling it won't be the last!
