WOOZI FOCUSED 2016
they were in the middle of comeback promotions. this time they were at a music show, hopeful to get a first win with this one. right now, the members were all getting makeup, hair, and stage outfits done. woozi was one of first members done, so he decided to watch the other performances on the tv of their dressing room.
"stare harder, i'm sure she can feel your eyes through the screen." the sudden sound of a familiar voice startled the man out of his concentration on the screen in front of him. he flinched, his heart nearly jumped out of his chest. hoshi snickered at the reaction, his gaze focusing in on the end of a performance by the object of his younger member's affections.
"shut up, hyung." the younger man turned to his member with a scowl and crossed arms. "i wasn't staring. i just-"
"you were just burning a hole through the tv staring so hard at a dongsaeng performing. don't deny it." his friend corrected, a wide knowing smirk on his lips. "the song's nice. she's got a good voice and engaged well with the camera. but you weren't just watching for the song, right ooji-ssi? she's very pretty too, right? there are a lot of pretty idols aren't there? so many dongsaengs debuted this year and are here right now promoting like us; but something about her caught your eye? you think she's beautiful?" the pale man was silent throughout his hyung's horrifying speech, unable to deny what he was saying, instead gradually becoming more flustered the more right the accusations were.
"what are you even talking about?! she's older by a month, we were born the same year." he didn't notice the sharp predatory like smile his hyung sent him, oh his friend was crushing so bad. "makeup-noona finished early so i got the chance to see some of the other performances. you just came at the wrong time, i wasn't staring!" woozi tried to ignore the nagging feeling that he was trying to convince himself and not the tiger man in front of him.
hoshi's amused laughter only served to further irritate the already flustered woozi. his makeup did little to hide the red that colored his pale cheeks, noticeable despite the rouge used by the makeup-noona. "who said anything about ages? are you stalking her jihoonie? i didn't know hyungs raised a creeper." he took great pleasure in teasing their shortest member. with no seungcheol or jeonghan there to stop him due to getting makeup done or changing into stage outfits, he took full advantage of the fact that there was nobody to stop him from mercilessly tearing into his friend about his new crush.
"i hate you." woozi huffed, turning away from hoshi with a pout.
"come on," the man drew out, "i'm just teasing jihoon-ah. don't get mad, it's okay to have crushes. we're still young. we all get them." the horrified expression on the normally calm producer's face made the man want to take a picture just to remember the look.
"i don't have a crush!"
"don't lie to your hyung, it's rude."
"i'm not lying! i don't even know her, how can i have a crush on somebody i don't even know?!"
"i don't know, i'm not the one with the crush." he shrugged.
"i don't have a crush!"
"yes you do." hoshi simply stated.
"no i don't!"
"yes you do."
"no i don't!"
"no you don't."
"yes, i do-ohfuck off!" groaning in frustration and embarrassment, the shorter man stumped away with pink cheeks and ears, leaving a cackling tiger behind him.
he was so crushing real bad.
note: i know nothing of woozi & hoshi's dynamic, nor them as ppl. i just know they're close and hoshi looks like he teases his members a lot. this was a short one but the next one will be longer :) i think it'll be the last moment from 2016, or i might add one more idky...
