"Okay. I'll be there in about 2 hours, so just start packing your stuff up." Hyunjin said into the phone.
"Okay." Juno laughed.
"What's funny?" Hyunjin asked with a smile.
"Teddie. You'll see when you get here." Juno said.
"What did you do to him?" Hyunjin asked.
"Nothing! He's just doing the thing where he worries because he's guilty." Juno said.
"What happened?"
"He'll tell you. He wanted me to call you last night so he could tell you, but Uncle Channie said it was time for bed." Juno explained.
Hyunjin sighed. "Okay. I'll see you guys soon."
Every time Hyunjin came home from work, Teddie had a confession of some sort. He always took it so seriously, that it was quite endearing. But sometimes, it was so minor that it was hard to listen to all the way through.
Oh, well. At least the kid was honest.
But the poor kid was obviously stewing over this particular incident since yesterday, so he was likely getting antsy.
~
"Hyung, when is daddy coming?" Teddie asked, pulling on Juno's shirt for the 50th time that day.
"He'll be here in like 5 minutes." Juno said.
Teddie hopped up anxiously and ran to Chan's front door. He sat on the step waiting.
~
Finally, Hyunjin walked in the door.
"Oh!" He said, not expecting Teddie to be right there."
"Daddy, I did something bad yesterday." Teddie said, hopping up.
Hyunjin sighed. "Okay. Tell me in a second. But first, how was your visit with Uncle Channie?" He asked, bending forward to kiss Teddie's cheek.
"Umm. Good." Teddie said.
Juno came to the porch. "Hi, dad."
"Hi." Hyunjin said, pulling Juno into a hug. "Is your stuff packed?"
