*Chapter 13*

Charlie's POV

The door barraged open and all the Avengers stormed in, clearly ready to fight. I looked at them all as I sat in the sofa with an ice lolly in my mouth, one eyebrow raised. I wasn't surprised they had found us now that Loki was in the picture.

"Where's Loki?" Thor asked confused, looking around. I looked to the ground where Loki was passed out on the floor all covered in Webb.

They all looked at him for a second confused. "How did you-" Clint started as I heald up my other hand which had a frying pan in it. I felt like the girl from Tangled and she was right, it really was a great weapon.

They all looked at me for a second before my dad rushed over and gave me a tight hug. "So Loki wants to kill me? We're you ever going to tell me that or save it for a Christmas card?" I rolled my eyes sarcastically.

"I'm sorry I should have told you. And I should have given you more freedom growing up, so I get why you left, I did the same thing when I was younger" My dad admitted. Well, great minds think alike. What can I say?

"And I'm sorry, I shouldn't be so hard on you" Steve looked at me with a guilt expression.

"It's fine, everyone is forgiven and it's all chilled" I shrugged, sticking my ice lolly bag in my mouth and turning on the TV.

It was silent for a moment before Bruce spoke up. "I have a question? What is this that's holding him down?" He asked, bending down next to Loki's unconscious body and slowly and carefully touching the web that surrounded it.

"Oh that" I quickly tried to think of a lie but there was no point when Peter walked out the bathroom with his Spider-Man suit on bar the mask. He also had an ice lolly in his mouth which nearly fell out when he saw all the Avengers sitting there with confused expressions on their faces.

Everyone just starred at each other for ages like they do in Twilight until my dad spoke up. "So the kid I have known for over 10 years turns out to be Spider-man" My dad spoke, almost to himself.

"I knew you were hiding something, I knew it! And you all thought I was crazy, HA!" Clint laughed and sat back with some new found pride and cockiness, looking very pleased with himself.

It happened suddenly.

There was a blast of some kind, so unexpected that it knocked everyone right off their feet and onto the floor, smoking rising and filling our lungs, also momentarily blurring our vision. As the mist cleared, all our eyes darted to the same position, the area where Loki had once been bounded but now, was just a heap of ripped webs and a couple of scuff marks.

Sneaky little bastard.

My dad sighed and ran his hair through his hand for a minute. "Well Peter, how would you feel about becoming an Avenger?" He asked, although his tone didn't make it sound like a question, rather an order or a demand.

"Yes, I'd be glad to help, so what do we do?" Peter asked, pulling his mask on. Which by the way, I get is for dramatic effect and all but he doesn't really need to.

"Protect Charlie, find Loki"

Great.

--------------------------------------

I lay quietly on the sofa on Thor's floor as it was his turn to 'watch' me. I watched as Thor stuffed his face with pop tarts whilst watching Phinius and Ferb on TV. I had half my day with Thor and the other half was to be spent with Clint.
