Dela let Nik have two days of peace after storing Mikael in the basement before she had Madox collect Rebekah's coffin and bring it to the Hotel.
"Are you sure this can't wait a few weeks love, can't we enjoy the peace for a bit?" Nik asked, not wanting to deal with the consequences of his own actions.
Dela rolled her eyes as she opened the coffin and turned to Nik "You know my feelings about the daggers. Now that Mikael's dealt with Rebekah deserves to live and you have no excuse for daggering her besides your own anger" She would not let Nik weasel his way out of this.
Klaus glowered at Dela and Rebekah's unconscious form "She wanted to run off with Stefan!" he said, trying to justify himself.
Dela took a deep breath before meeting his eyes "I'm going to say something, and I need you to hear it. Rebekah is entitled to love, she is entitled to some distance when she needs it. She deserves your respect as she would do anything for you and all she gets for it is your spite and punishments" She had long resented how he treated his siblings but none more than Rebekah.
Niklaus looked like he wanted to argue but Elijah spoke up "It is hard to hear but she is right Niklaus, how can we expect our sister to stay with us when we do not allow her to experience the best parts of life, especially when we ourselves have it?"
Dela saw the way Nik was closing up so she walked up to him and took his face in her hands, gently rubbing her thumbs over his cheekbones.
"I understand more than most that things were different when you were human, but your sister will not leave you if you allow her happiness. You've adjusted with the modern times and it's time to apply that to your treatment of Rebekah" Her words were said gently but were no less true.
Klaus huffed "Fine fine, I won't interfere with whatever doomed romance Rebekah concocts next. Let's get this over with" he said as he motioned towards the coffin before he walked up to it and pulled the dagger from Rebekah's chest.
They all left the room, leaving behind a compelled human to wait for Rebekah.
Really Dela should have expected Rebekah to attack Nik, and for none of the others to lift a finger to help said Hybrid who now had a dagger to the gut.
"Hurts, doesn't it Nik?" Rebekah asked mockingly, glaring at Niklaus as he rolled his eyes and removed the dagger.
Bekah turned towards them when she heard Kol snicker at the sight, her eyes were narrowed until she grinned "Dela!" She yelled excitedly as she rushed towards Dela who immediately got up to pull the blonde into a hug.
As the two embrace they hear Nik scoff "Typical, I get stabbed while you hug our dear Dela here! Where is my hug?"
Bekah turned towards her brother with a glare "Dela isn't a backstabbing wanker with homicidal tendencies" She said sarcastically before turning away from him dismissively.
"To be fair Sister, that could describe us all" Kol said as he sat on the sofa, a blood bag in his hands as he flipped through the TV channels that were available at the hotel.
Dela had a feeling Bekah would have said something back had she not been surprised by the TV, watching it with wide eyes.
It seemed to make Bekah realize how long she had been daggered as she looked at them all and what they were wearing before turning to Nik with a hateful glare "How long?... HOW LONG NIK!?" She yelled when he didn't answer.
"Almost 90 years" Klaus eventually admitted.
Rebekah sucked in a breath before turning away from her brothers and storming to the room she had woken up in.
