Hally's newfound method of release had brought forth a clarity in her mind during the coming days.

She was glad to not feel as on edge and pent up as she had been.

Unfortunately, the clear mind also brought forth some unpleasant thoughts and a massive sense of regret.

Snape hadn't mentioned their time in the broom cupboard to her and truthfully, she was too ashamed of her actions to bring them up and apologize to him directly.

She desperately wished she could just erase that whole night from her memory; from start to finish.

To her relief, he still allowed her to help him after classes but things had been more than a little off between them. He seemed more clinical and like he was trying to keep his distance from her.

Hally understood that she had crossed a line that night and she was quite aghast at her behaviour but she would be lying if she said that she didn't miss their closeness. She really needed him in her corner again.

The coming days were also some of the worst Hally had faced at Hogwarts thus far. Somehow they were even more terrible than the whole school being afraid of her and thinking she was the one going around and petrifying people in second year.

Her and Ron were still not on speaking terms— both mad for their own reasons. Hermione tried to be the middle-man between them but nothing worked. They both refused to acknowledge each other.

Hally would usually try and speak to her friends from other houses during classes but no one from Hufflepuff was willing to speak to Hally and in solidarity the Ravenclaws had joined in on icing her out.

She yearned for everyone to see that she didn't want to be apart of this horrid tournament and that she was more than happy with Cedric representing the school on his own, but none of her peers outside of Hermione would listen to her.

Things came to a blow in potions class one day with none other than Draco Malfoy.

As Hally trailed after Hermione, into the gloomy atmosphere; she could hear snickers coming from the Slytherins on the other side of the room. It didn't take long for her to realize that they all had massive badges on the front of their robes; all the while, Snape was no where to be found.

All of them bore the same message in luminous red letters that shone brightly in the dark dungeon.

Draco pushed his way past Hermione's stunned stance until he was directly in front of Hally. "Like them, Potter ?' A cruel smile crossed his lips, 'this isn't even all that they can do— watch this !"

Draco pressed the badge into his chest, and the message upon it was replaced by another one that was only two words and glowed green;
