After having their lunch, Abhimanyu and Shivani stepped out of the restaurant, making their way to the car. The sun was slowly setting, casting an orange glow over the city as the evening breeze brushed against their faces.

The drive was peaceful, with Shivani resting her head on the window, watching the changing scenery. It wasn't long before they reached the outskirts of the city, where the roads became narrow, surrounded by dense greenery.

Shivani sat up straight, confusion flickering in her eyes as she looked around.

"Abhi... where are we? What are we doing here?" she asked, clutching the seatbelt tightly.

Abhimanyu parked the car near a narrow pathway and turned to her with a small smile.

"You'll see... but for now, just trust me," he said softly.

They both got down from the car. Shivani's eyes widened when she noticed the deep forest surrounding them. The air smelled of fresh earth, and the faint sound of birds chirping echoed around them.

Her heart raced as her eyes darted around, imagining wild animals hiding behind the trees. She instinctively reached for Abhimanyu's hand, gripping it tightly.

"Abhi... why are we here? There must be lions... tigers... or even snakes here! Let's go back, please!" she whispepanic clearclear in her voice.

Abhimanyu chuckled at her innocent fear. He turned to her, cupping her cheek gently.

"There are no lions or tigers here, Shivani... and even if there were, do you think I would ever let anything happen to you?"

His deep voice wrapped around her like a warm blanket, calming her anxious heart.

Shivani's doe-like eyes blinked up at him, making her look even more adorable in his eyes. His thumb unknowingly traced her cheek, lingering there for a second too long.

A strange warmth spread in his chest - an unfamiliar feeling that made his heart skip a beat.

He quickly pulled his hand away, clearing his throat.

"It's just a surprise... come with me."

Shivani's fear didn't disappear completely, but something about the way he looked at her made her trust him without question.

They walked through the narrow path for five minutes until they reached a small clearing.

Shivani's eyes widened in awe as she saw the treehouse hidden between the thick branches of an old oak tree. It stood tall, looking straight out of a fairy tale - small wooden stairs leading up to the cozy little cabin nestled between the leaves.

"This... this is beautiful," she whispered, unable to take her eyes off the view.

Abhimanyu's lips curved into a soft smile.

"This is my secret place... I used to come here whenever I wanted to be alone. I thought... maybe now it's time to share it with someone."

Shivani's heart fluttered at his words, her fear slowly fading away.

For the first time, she realised... she wasn't just his wife on paper - she was slowly becoming a part of his world, little by little.

And maybe... just maybe... she didn't mind it at all.

As they stepped inside the house, Shivani's eyes widened in shock. She had only seen tree houses in pictures or movies - never in her life did she imagine standing inside one.
