As they finished breakfast, Abhimanyu paid the bill, and they headed out. Just as they stepped outside, a man accidentally bumped into Shivani. She lost her balance and was about to fall when the man caught her just in time.

Abhimanyu’s eyes darkened as he clenched his jaw, watching the scene unfold.

"Thank you," Shivani said as the man steadied her.

"Not required," the man replied smoothly, his gaze lingering on her. "It should be a blessing to hold such a beautiful lady."

That was enough to set Abhimanyu off. His irritation was evident as he took a step forward, wrapping his arm possessively around Shivani’s waist.

"I think that’s enough," he said, his tone firm.

Turning to Shivani, he met her gaze before speaking. "We should go, Jaan," he murmured, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

The other man instantly realized his mistake—he had flirted with the wrong woman.

"Oh, my bad… Good luck, guys," he said, backing off.

Abhimanyu smirked, satisfied, while Shivani gave an awkward smile.

"Have a great day," the man added before walking away, leaving the couple behind.

As they stepped outside, Shivani swiftly removed his hand from her waist and turned to him, her voice stern.

"What was that, Abhimanyu?" she demanded.

Abhimanyu frowned. "What was that? Didn't you see that guy openly flirting with you? And that too right in front of your husband! And now you're asking me what I did? Seriously?" His tone was laced with irritation.

Shivani huffed, crossing her arms.

And what about me? she thought to herself.

There’s a girl in the house who keeps ogling at my husband. What should I do then? she murmured under her breath.

Abhimanyu caught the faint whisper but couldn't make out the words. "Sorry, what did you just say?" he asked, narrowing his eyes.

Shivani quickly masked her expression, flashing him an overly sweet smile. "Nothing," she replied, baring her teeth playfully before walking ahead.

Abhimanyu watched her retreating figure, suspicious yet amused. 'This girl…' he thought, shaking his head before following her.

As they continued their journey, the silence between them lingered until Shivani finally broke it.

"Where are we going now?" she asked, glancing at him.

Abhimanyu kept his eyes on the road, skillfully shifting gears and steering whenever necessary.

There was something about the way he handled the car that fascinated her, making her admire him even more.

Noticing her gaze, he smirked. "What are you looking at?" he asked, already knowing the answer.

Shivani quickly averted her eyes. "I'm looking at nowhere. Why are you even asking?" she said, trying to change the topic.

He chuckled but didn’t push further.

"You still haven’t answered my question. Where are we going?" she asked again.
