A New Beginning

The Search

Maya POV:
I wake up and get dressed in a grey flowy tank top that says "LA" in lime green. I put on a pair of white jeans and roll them a little above the ankle. I put on black sandals and walk to my bathroom I barrel curl my hair and bobby pin some back. I put little make up on and go to wake my kids.

While Farkle and I are making breakfast; grits and eggs, I hear a knock on the door. I open it to see Bucky McBoing Boing standing there. "I hope you are ashamed of yourself." I fake smile.

"Well trust me I am." Lucas states. I cock my head and give Lucas a "get to the point" look. "Anyways," he starts. "I figured out who kidnapped Riley. I was up late thinking and it came to me." Lucas continues. "Well tell me then!" I exclaim. I am very anxious to know. I am going to beat up whoever did this to my best friend.

"Well the only real enemy Riley has is... Charlie." Lucas finally spills. "Oh God," I say remembering that jerk. "He did say that he wanted revenge." I recall. Ever since Riley broke up with him in like 8th grade he has had a grudge on her. And they only dated for a month! "Well I better go back to my apartment and cook my kids breakfast. Can you tell the boutique about Riley so she isn't fired when you go to work today?" Lucas asks me. "Of course." I reply.

Josh POV:
I am fixing my hair when I get a phone call. It's from my fake nephew Lucas. I decide to answer. "What's up?" I ask. "Josh, I wish I had contacted you sooner but umm, you see, Riley, your niece, has been kidnapped." Lucas says. I drop my phone because of shock. I quickly get myself together and pick it back up. "Dude you have to go find her!" I order him. "I know I am going to get Maya and Farkle to help. But we will need you to watch the kids for the day. We will be back by 4 because I have to work at 4:30." Lucas adds. "Alright, for Riley." I agree. I hang up. Oh great; me with 4 kids. Oh this is going to go great! Just kidding Josh. Just kidding.

Farkle POV:
We are about to step out the door when Lucas bangs on the door once again. I open the door. "Guys I forgot to ask; do you guys want to play sick with me and track Riles down?" My jaw drops; similar to Maya's when she found out about our project. "But-" I was cut off. "Yes! Anything for Riley!" Maya replies. Oh man. My first time skipping school. I'm gonna be arrested. Oh no. It's all for my friend. Okay then. "We can drop the kids off at Josh's house." Luca adds. "You mean Uncle Boing?" Maya asks. "Yes," Lucas answers.

***Time Skip***

Lucas POV:
I've been driving around for hours. Maya is in the passenger seat looking up Charlie's address online. Farkle is in the back middle seat fighting his self over whether he should confess to school or not and then whether or not he's going to be put in jail.

"Finally!" Maya shouted and I almost crashed because I didn't expect it. "You found it?!" I asked. "No but there's finally a Starbucks near. I need my vanilla bean frap to continue without dosing off." I sigh but then park and Maya and I walk in. Farkle stays in the car. Maya orders and pays and then I order a plain coffee and pay. Once our drinks are ready we walk out and continue our search.

About 30 minutes later:
"I've got it!" Maya says shoving her phone in my face. "Okay okay give me the phone." I grab the phone and put the address in my gps on my phone. It's only 21 minutes away. "Are you sure it's going to be his address Maya?" I question. "Yes, I'm not dumb." I put my hands up in surrender because we were at a red light.

Finally we arrive at what is sub post to be the home of the evil Charlie and the prison of the beautiful Riley. Maya and I get out of the car. Maya has to drag Farkle behind her for him to come along. I knock on the door firmly.

Riley POV:
I am sitting on the couch beside Charlie because he forced me to and if I didn't he would tie me up again and it hurt so badly. I have raw skin where the ropes were. I feel very unsafe here and I feel threatened. Charlie took my phone so I can't call or text, I hope my friends find me. Charlie's parents are away on a business trip for a week so they aren't here to stop this from happening. For all I know they would allow it though. Then I hear a knock on the door. A firm one. I am just hoping and hoping this is the police. "Stay." Charlie commands like I'm a dog. He walks to the door. He opens it and is instantly knocked out.

I see my friends walk in. So good to see them. I get up and run their way. "Lucas!" I run up and kiss him passionately on his warm lips. I let go. "Hey, nice punch Lucas, it took one to knock him out." I comment.

"Actually it was Maya." Lucas points. "Yep, when someone messes with my friend I don't play around." She grins. All of a sudden Maya and Lucas look at my wrists and take a step back. "What happened baby?" Lucas asks. "Ropes, I was tied together for a while." I answer. "Aww Sunshine..." Maya starts.

We get in the car as Lucas calls the police to get my kidnapper.
