Riley POV:
Right after I tell my mom what happened, there is a knock on the door. I look down at myself to see I'm still in my clothes from earlier. I sigh and rush to my room. No time for a shower. I put on light jeans, a black long sleeved shirt, and a white infinity scarf. I put on my Uggs and I straighten my hair. I look at myself and then huff "Crap. I need make up on." I take out my make up bag and put on dark eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, foundation, and all my other make up necessities.

When I finally approve my look, I casually walk back to the living room, only to find all my family and friends have arrived. Josh Matthews, Farkle, Lucas, Shawn, and my dad are talking and watching a football game, my mom, Maya, and Katy are talking and laughing in the kitchen, and my kids, Maya's kids, and Auggie are in the dining area playing a board game. I decide to join my mom, Maya, and Katy. "Hey Riley! How are you?" Katy says giving me a side hug. "Hello Katy, I'm doing well." I reply with a smile.

*Time Skip*

I reach for my plate to get my food and my uncle Josh comes behind me and whispers in my ear, "Sit with Lucas so that nobody notices that you guys are ignoring each other." I sigh and nod. I don't really feel like sitting beside him but Josh is a great help when it comes to advising people.

The seating arrangement at the table is Christine, me, Lucas, and my uncle Josh on one side. Owen is directly across from Christine, then Maya, Farkle, and Auggie. All of our parents (including Shawn, who is dating Katy at the moment) are in the living room along with Skylar and little Josh. It is silent for a minute until Auggie breaks the silence. "Hey Riley! How do you like being married?" I place my lips together with a little force. Lucas turns to me and looks me in the eye. "I think it's a great experience Auggie." I answer putting on a smile. Lucas turns back to his plate not long before Auggie asks Lucas his own question. "Lucas do you like being married to Riley? Are you being nice to her?" Maya's forkful of casserole that she had on her fork fell off of it and onto the table. "For a 9 year old, you seem like a police detective."  Maya swiftly says raising her eyebrows.

Lucas turns back at me searching my eyes. He quickly turns back to Auggie and replies, "I love being married to Riley, and I try to be as nice as possible and I try my best to make sure your sister is safe and happy." After his statement he gives a toothless smile. Josh looks between Lucas and I and then says, "Don't worry Auggie, Riles is in good hands."

Maya POV:
After a while, the boys (except Owen) all go outside to play football in the area behind the apartment complex. My mom and Topanga are cleaning up the kitchen a little. "Mommy I'm tired." Skylar comes up to me and whines. Riley heard this, since she is beside me on the couch, and says "You can take a nap in Josh's room, I'm sure he won't mind,  or Christine is taking a nap in her bed and we can put a sleeping bag on the floor for you to sleep in beside her bed." "I'll sleep in the sleeping bag." Christine says with a smile and she skips to Christine's door. Riley goes to get a sleeping bag and I walk over to Skylar. "You have to be quiet because Little Riley is sleeping," I say in a whisper. "Okay Mommy!" She replies.

Riley comes back with a sleeping bag and we creep in to settle Skylar in. "Have a good nap baby." I say kissing Skylar's forehead. "Night!" She whispers, remembering what I told her. Riley and I walk back out to the living room and sit down on the long couch. Owen sits on my lap, but I can tell he is daydreaming.  "You know, you are a great mom, Maya." Riley says turning her attention to me. I smile a toothless smile and reply, "You aren't too bad yourself, Sunshine."

"You know, apart from earlier today, this project is amazing." Riley says turning herself so she is sitting with her legs crisscrossing facing me.

I turn and mirror her action and reply, "Yeah, it's growing on me."

"By 'it' do you mean Farkle?"

"Well yes. He isn't as bad as I thought. And he has a great sense of humor."

"Maya, I think that Lucas and I made up a little without even trying at the table earlier."

I smile at her and reply "I think you did Sunshine."

"How awkward do you think it'll be later?"

I cock my head and answer, "I don't know, probably not too bad. I mean you and him are boyfriend and girlfriend after all, and let's not mention have to live together for a year."

"You always know what to say Peaches." She gleams.

After that, the boys come in and they fill the house with an awful smell. "I didn't know you had a boys locker room in your house Riley." I say making a disgusted face. "I didn't either, eww!" She says in reply. We both know what a boys locker room exactly smells like because in 9th grade we got in trouble and had to clean it.

One by one, people start to leave. My mom and Shawn leave, then Corey, Auggie, and Topanga, followed by Farkle's parents. Lucas' parents couldn't make it since they flew back to Texas for the week to visit. Josh is the last relative to leave. "Bye Uncle Boing." I say giving him a hug. "Bye Maya, take care. And good luck on your project." He says sincerely, hugging me back. After we release, Josh goes to Riley. "Bye Riles, remember, call me any time you need me. Love ya." And they hug. "Bye Uncle Josh, love you too." Riley replies.

After Josh says bye to Farkle, Lucas, and all the kids, he leaves as well. Farkle is carrying Skylar because she isn't all the way awake yet, and I'm carrying Owen. "Bye Friars!" I yell as we leave. "Bye Maya!" Riley yells back from her room.

After we get settled back in our apartment and put the kids to bed, I am sitting on my bed reading "Insurgent" when Farkle walks in. "When are we going to tell them?" He asks. I sigh, "Soon. I hate keeping secrets." I reply.
