Riley POV:
"How do I look?" I ask spinning myself like Cinderella does. Lucas' jaw drops and he cracks a smile.
"Baby you look beautiful." He replies giving me a tight hug. I blush at the compliment, even though he tells me all the time.
Soon there's a knock on the door and Lucas goes to answer. "Let's do this thing, losers." Maya says with an unhappy look on her face. The thing with Maya is she doesn't really love wearing anything really fancy, like a prom dress. Farkle is behind her with one hand on her shoulder.

Once we get to school, I see Missy Bradford roll her eyes as I pass her, because I'm with Lucas no doubt. I have learned to not let her bother me at all.
Maya and I beg the guys to dance with us to almost every song, like New Americana, Long Way Home, and Work.
Charlie Gardner is nowhere to be found, luckily. Tonight's going amazing.
Then the song changes to Bless The Broken Road (song at top). I look at Lucas and a smile creeps on my face. He looks at me with his sea green eyes and asks, "May I have this dance, Mrs. Friar?"
I giggle a little and nod, "Of course, Mr. Friar."
I rest my head on Lucas' chest and close my eyes as he leads us. "I love you, princess." He whispers in my ear. A chill goes down my spine as he speaks, and I reply, "I love you more, my prince."
