Violet's POV:
"Guys! She's out."
"Huh?"
"She blacked out."
"Uh okay yes, definitely shock."
"She needs to rest."
"Let's get her to bed. Vi? Can you carry her?"
"I'll do it."
"Thanks Lou."
"Of course Vi."
I watched as Louis picked up Clementine, which was becoming something a little too normalized and I hated it. He carried her to our room and laid her on the bed. He laid her down gently and then looked at me with sad eyes.
"Vi."
"Louis I fucked up again. I got caught off guard by that guy. Then Clem had to KILL him. Then be punished for it."
"Violet, that isn't your fault. If anything I should've had the walls finished by now so they couldn't have hopped over."
"Guess were both idiots huh?"
I smiled at him. Louis was always the best at making me feel better no matter the circumstance.
"Plus I know it isn't much considering she just lost a fucking finger, but at least she's only in shock. This time we'll know she'll live for sure."
"Yeah. Yeah. You're right. I can't believe she just lost her finger though."
"Yeah..."
"She's strong. She'll be okay."
"Did. Did AJ watch?"
"Yeah. I tried to cover his eyes but one guy threatened me."
"Fuck. Before I stay with her I'm going to go find him."
"Can I come too?"
"Of course Lou."
He smiled at me and we made our way to AJ and Tenn's room. I knocked on the door and listened. I heard nothing at first then a sniffle.
"AJ we're coming in."
I opened the door to see him sitting on his bed, knees to his chest crying.
"Hey little man. Can I sit next to you?"
He just nodded at me, and I made my way over to the bed as Louis stood by him.
"I'm sorry you had to see all that little man."
"He..he hurt Clem. Bad."
"I know he did, and once she's better we're going to kill them."
"Kill him?"
"Maybe not kill him, but make him pay for what he did to Clem. I promise AJ."
He smiled at me and then titled his head confused.
"Where is she?"
"She's resting."
"Okay. I'm going to go find Tenn. Can you get me when she is awake?"
"Of course."
He smiled at me and ran out of the room, seemingly happy again.
