Anastasia's pov:
We begin to walk into the restaurant, our feet gliding at the same pace, same rythm but he is slightly infront of me. He holds the door open while i walk in and thank him.
The slight hum of the music is barely heard throughout the conversations people have with another.
I always wonder the different conversations people talk about, where they are going after this, their future.
This restaurant isn't like a McDonald's where you just sit down anyway, here you have to wait to be seated.
I do prefer a Mcdonald's to a fancy restaurant like this. Where you have to put on a fake laugh with your friends because the posh older people next to you want a quiet dinner. (Saying from experience because me and Bailee got told off last time).
Finally, after twenty minutes me and Gio are seated. He pulls out my chair for me. Although i'm still annoyed at him, he is a gentlemen when it comes to things like this. He always has been. Even since we were younger.
I remember sitting at my mini table and chairs, it was purple with pink flowers spotted around. None of the boys in the neighbourhood sat in the garden with me at my table, they said it was "too girly" but Gio, he was different. He pulled out my chair for me and then his. He sat with me.
"What would you like to order?" Gio's voice snapping me out of my day dream.
The smell of a Pepperoni pizza next to me and his cologne took over my senses.
"Just a pizza, what are you thinking?"
"We can get a large pizza and share? If you'd like."
Giovanni's pov:
I know she doesn't like eating a full pizza to herself, then feels bad she can't finish it. I wouldn't mind sharing with her.
"Sure". She speaks with a soft smile, her dark brunette hair turning golden in the light of the sunset from the window.
The hair that falls infront of her face, she pushes behind her ear. I used to do that for her. She's always had long hair. Her biggest fear it cutting too much off.
The waiter comes over. Looking straight at her, stuttering on his words. He doesn't look at me once. His gaze lowered from looking at her lips to-
"Hey, 'scuse me". The waiter stops, rolling his eyes to me.
"Yes?"
Anastasia looking down, she hates ordering food. Always has.
Anastasia's pov:
The waiter with blondish hair, a slim build, brown eyes. Basically every opposite feature than Gio.
The waiter stutters asking me what i'd like, looking at my lips rather than my eyes, then his eyes drop lower. Now i'm wishing i brought a jacket.
I lower my head, i hate ordering my food.
"Hey, 'scuse me". My eyes briskly moving to Gio's.
"Just a large Pepperoni. Thanks" Although Gio is thanking him he doesn't mean it. He didn't bother putting a smile on to mask it. His jaw ticking.
I felt uncomfortable but i wasn't going to let that ruin my night.
Gio was about to speak, i cut him off.
"Why?" I couldn't finish my sentence.
"Why what?" Gio looks at me confused. His eyes trying to find the answers in mine.
"Why did you leave and stop texting me."
I was going to wait to hear his answer but my anger couldn't help it.
"Did i do something wrong? Thank you for saving me on the boat but that doesn't cover up the shitty thing you did to me." I didn't bother adding the part in where i saw him waiting after the boat, or what my uncle said. I wanted an answer.
I didn't realise on the last bit of the sentence i raised my voice.
"Shh". The old lady on the table next to me says. I look at her rolling my eyes and slumping back in my chair.
"I'm sorry." He looks down at his hands. Fiddling with the ring on his middle finger. I do the same, i can tell he's nervous.
"If that's all you can say, then i'm leaving." Proud of myself for standing my ground (im scared now). I wasn't actually going to leave though, that just came out my mouth quickly.
"I don't want to start something that isn't my place in saying."
Now i'm confused.
