On the boat ride, Mikasa was looking up at the sky as two birds flew by. The wind blew gently, moving Mikasa's hair.
"Everyone says Eren and (Y/n) has changed. I believed that, too. But, maybe that wasn't true"
We're now in the past, where they've left Paradis Island to look out over the sea. Far from the ship, colorful buildings and strangely shaped structures could be seen. On the railing, Eren gazed out at the city in complete silence.
Mikasa walks to stand next to Eren, she looks at him seeing Eren's expression. Mikasa lets out a light sigh as she looks away, seeing (Y/n) with her gaze down.
"Maybe Eren hasn't changed at all from the beginning. If that's how Eren has always been...", Mikasa looks out at the blue sea. "Then what part of Eren and (Y/n) I've been seeing all these years?", She remembers when Eren and (Y/n) were children, her hands went to her scarf.
Slowly, the ship was approaching the port. Jean, Connie, and Sasha were staring into the distance. Connie looked around in amazement.
"So there really are cities cutside the walls and people living in them", Connie says with a slight smile, Jean turns his head towards him.
"Don't say stuff about walls in front of strangers, okay?", Jean murmurs to him.
"Oh, yeah. Of course", Connie looks at him nervously, smiling slightly.
"So this is the continent beyond the walls", Connie and Jean look at Sasha. "And we're the first group of human from within the walls to step foot outside!"
"I told you not to say that!", Jean yells at Sasha.
In a place not so far away were Levi, Louis and Hanji together with other people.
"You could say this what our job is really about", Levi and Louis look at each other for a few moments before Louis looks at Hanji, behind her was Armin with a slight smile. "Let's begin the survey"
The ship had arrived at the port, and the elegantly dressed people began to disembark. The city was filled with people strolling, taking photos of couples or families somewhere. Everyone from Paradise Island was surprised; they were unfamiliar things and places.
"Everyone!", A voice caught everyone's attention. "Welcome to the continent of Marley!", It was Onyankopon, who took off his hat. "Allow me to show you to Lady Azumabito's mansion"
"Onyankopon!", Hanji raises her hand in greeting, smiling at him.
"I'm so glad you guys made it! What do you think? This is Marley's biggest port city--",He had barely finished speaking when a car passed behind Onyankopon, attracting the attention of the others.
