Cereza's POV
Nothing could stop the feeling of relief I felt when I materialized in my room.
I lay on my bed, grab a pillow, and let out a sob. Now, these were sort of happy-sad tears. Happy to be home, sad about everything else. At least, being in a familiar setting made me feel a little better.
That was short lived because now we have an even bigger problem.
NO ONE KNOWS THAT I AM HERE.
I'm going to be in SO much trouble when they eventually find me.
Logically speaking, I should have kept my ass in that garden. Emotionally speaking, it was either have a mental episode there or deescalate and calm down at home. I chose the latter.
Whatever consequences come from that, I am fully prepared to take accountability for, that I can handle. But, as of right now? I don't know what I would have done if I stayed.
And that's a scary thought.
Maybe I shouldn't be alone right now, but I also don't want to go back. Maybe, maybe I'll go stay with Jason for a while.
That way when they do find me, they'll know I wasn't alone.
I know that sounds like a "if I'm going down, you're going down with me" type of thing, but that's not my intention.
I sat up and collected myself before grabbing my phone and calling Jason.
CALL TO JASON
"Hey baby. I thought you were in that meeting with the Elders?" He asked.
I cleared my throat before speaking. "Yeah, I-I was." I said.
"Baby, what happened?" Jason asked.
"What makes you think something happened?" I asked.
"Come on Cereza, you know I know you. You don't stutter just because. Now, what happened?" He asked.
"I, um...... I'll tell you, but I have a favor to ask." I said.
"Sure, what is it?" Jason asks.
"C-Can, can I come stay with you f-for a few hours?" I asked.
"Uh, yeah, of course. Um, not that I mind or anything, but why? What's wrong baby?" He asked.
"It's just-, I-, I just did something so stupid!" I whined.
"Are you in trouble?" Jason asked.
"No, but I will be." I said.
"Alright, where you at? Are you still in the Magic Realm?" He asked.
"No, I left. I'm at home on Earth now." I say.
"Does anybody know you left?" Jason asked.
I facepalmed. "No, I just left. I didn't tell anybody." I said.
Jason sighed. "Okay, you want me to come get you?" He asks.
