Uta's Idol.

Uta vs. The Wano Underworld.

Welcome to a new chapter of 'Uta's Idol'! This chapter will focus on Uta's battles against the yakuza of Wano. I was planning to do this last chapter, but got sidetracked with the interaction with Uta, Pitch, Uno, and Denjiro. This time though, it will be packed with fights against Wano's yakuza bosses and you can bet we will see Uta back in action! I hope you all enjoy as I had a blast writing this chapter! I don't own One Piece.

"Diva Dart!"

CLANG!

As part of her training, Uta has decided to challenge the yakuza bosses of Wano. The first opponent she is fighting is 'Snake Eyes' Yatappe and has challenged him in a bar in Kibi. Yatappe has already proven himself to be quite the adversary and used foul play to get the better of Uta. However, it was Yatappe's swordsmanship that truly impressed Uta and she was surprised by how strong his signature one handed sword swing is.

His slashes hit hard and fast. Uta thought as she tried to force Yatappe back with Kikimiko. This might be more difficult than I anticipated.

"I feel honored to clash with someone who can wield Kikimiko so elegantly." Yatappe said as his blade grinds against Uta's naginata. "Consider me impressed!"

"You're not half bad either." Uta said, trying to not let herself get overwhelmed. "However, I will win this bout of ours!"

Uta and Yatappe's weapon grind their weapons together causing sparks to fly before the two separated. Uta jumps back and lands on the bar stand while Yatappe's feet slide across the bar floor before making a stop. Denjiro was watching from the sidelines and was genuinely impressed with how well Uta was doing so far given her handicap.

It's quite impressive that Uta was able to block Yatappe 'Susanoo' and 'Raijin' attacks. Most men would get blown away by the power of his slash, but Uta managed to block it, even with her strength drained. Denjiro thought as he sipped some of his sake. However, blocking a powerful attack like that will take a toll on her body and she can't keep blocking forever. I wonder how she will deal with that.

Uta grunts in pain and looks at her hand which was shaking a bit from the backlash of blocking Yatappe's attacks. Without the use of armament haki, blocking two of his slashes was enough to make her body shudder.

"It looks like my body isn't used to taking such heavy blows yet." Uta said as she opened and closed her hand. "I have to wonder, will my body become stronger if I take more of those attacks?"

Uta then jumps off the table and aims her spear at Yatappe. The yakuza smiles and holds his katana up with both hands.

Surely an attack this simple wouldn't harm a yakuza of his level, right? Uta wonders as she begins to thrust her spear rapidly towards Yatappe. "Diva Dart: Demolish!"

Yatappe swipes his sword around, blocking and parrying all of Uta's attacks. Even though Uta's attack was slower in comparison to the times she used it prior, it was by no means an easy attack to defend against.

"Diva Divine!" Uta yells as swipes her naginata down on Yatappe.

The yakuza sidesteps out of the way, dodging Uta's attack in the nick of time. This caused Uta's attack to hit the floor and embedded her blade into the ground. Uta groans in frustration as she tries to pry her weapon out of the floor.

"An impressive attack! If that would've landed, I would have been in trouble!" Yatappe said as he grips his sword tightly with both hands. "Try this one for size! Fujin!"

Yatappe swung his blade creating a flying slash that made its way towards Uta.

That's not good! Uta thought as she frantically struggled to pull Kikimiko out of the floor. Need to do something fast!
