“I am not doing breathing exercises in a room full of strangers!” Nandini declared, crossing her arms as Dadi tied her dupatta firmly.

“You’re not. You’re doing it with us,” Gauri chimed, tossing a yoga mat over her shoulder.

“Exactly,” added Anika, already halfway out the door. “Om booked the entire class just for us.”

“Why do I feel like I’m going to regret this?” Nandini muttered, being gently shoved into the car by the overly enthusiastic family.

By the time they reached the wellness center, Nandini was surrounded—Gauri, Saisha, Anika, and even Dadi had their sneakers on. Rudra, not to be left out, wore a neon headband and gym gloves.

“I came prepared,” he declared. “This baby needs laughter, and I’m the Chief Joke Officer.”

The instructor blinked at the sight of them all. “You’re… the family?”

Shivaay nodded. “We don’t do anything small. It’s an Oberoi problem.”

Inside the class, mats were spread, calm music played, and the instructor began with a gentle voice. “Let’s start by connecting with our breath. Deep inhale…”

“Like how we do before Dadi’s lectures,” Rudra whispered, making Saisha snort.

“And exhale…”

“Like Bhai’s chances of redemption,” Rudra added.

“RUUUDRA!” three women hissed at once.

Meanwhile, Nandini sat awkwardly on a stability ball, arms folded, trying not to laugh.

“Now partners, gently massage the mother’s shoulders,” the instructor said.

“OH HELL NO!” Shivaay, Omkara, and Rudra yelled in unison, seeing a random woman move towards Nandini.

“Back off, she's married!” Omkara barked. “And emotionally unstable!”

“I—what?” Nandini gasped.

Then, the doors creaked open.

Enter Anirudh.

Wearing a cap, shades, and a nervous expression. He tiptoed in with a mat under his arm like a guilty schoolboy sneaking into detention.

“I brought almonds,” he whispered to Saisha, who was near the door.

The moment Rudra spotted him, he screamed like a wrestler announcing a villain. “INTRUDER ALERT!”

Omkara picked up a bolster like a weapon. “You weren’t invited!”

“I just wanted to sit in the back!” Anirudh protested.

“You had your chance to be in the front!” Saisha retorted.

The entire class turned to stare.

Anirudh, outnumbered by hormonal women and overprotective men, took one step back.
