"I was angry that day.
Not because of the accident. Not because Parth had ignored my call.
But because, despite everything, things still didn’t feel satisfying.

Still, I brushed it off. Because the wheel was still turning in my favor.

Things didn’t change. If anything, they accelerated.
Dad was getting more and more convinced that I truly wanted this alliance.

So much so… he decided to announce my marriage with Parth.
And he did it grandly—on my birthday.

Fair enough.

The celebration was lavish, blinding, full of people who smiled too much and meant too little.
But amidst all the glitter and noise, my eyes locked with a man I hadn’t seen in years.

Mr. Raghunath Shah.

He recognized me instantly.

I saw it—the almost smug, victorious smirk playing on his lips.

Poor man.
He didn’t know what was coming his way.

Remember at my sangeet—someone pushed him from the third floor?"

She smirked a little more now.

"Of course you will remember—and to your surprise, it wasn’t me. It was my best friend. The same woman who tried to ruin my plan—Miss Aashi."

Gasps filled the room.

"Because she wanted to frame me as a 'bad omen'—and she actually succeeded. She knew Raghunath wouldn’t die, just end up bedridden. And the funniest part? Parth knew everything. He even agreed to it. How convenient, right?

Their plan unfolded flawlessly—every detail, every moment, every move worked just as they wanted.
Mrs. Shah didn’t waste a second before badmouthing me in front of everyone. And for what? For that bastard, Raghunath Shah.

As a psychopath—that’s what she called me just a few minutes ago, right? Well, I did exactly what I wanted to.
My trusted man—the one who used to work in the hospital cafeteria—accidentally? No, no. He deliberately poured that steaming hot tea onto her hand.

Because, first—I don’t tolerate disrespect. Not now, not ever.
Second—disrespecting me for that bastard? Not even in my worst nightmares.

But eventually, everything settled. Mrs. Shah welcomed me back—like nothing ever happened.

The trap was already in place.
And every single move Parth and Aashi thought was their own was actually mine.

Everything was going exactly as I planned.

But then—again—they tried to interfere.

That annoying couple—Aashi and Parth.
They never learned.

They tried to outsmart me. Again.

Another plan to elope. But not before taking something from me.

My property.
