Nandini's voice cracked as she broke down in the middle of the room, her chest heaving with the weight of the memories she had carried for years.

"He... he wanted to sell my mother. That monster. He thought he could get away with it. But Maa had already signed everything—every last piece of property, every asset—over to me."

Tears streamed down her face, her shoulders trembling as she continued, struggling to form coherent words between sobs.

"𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵... 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘯𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘥. 𝘏𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵... 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘯𝘥."

The room had fallen into a stunned silence, each person frozen in disbelief as her voice cracked with raw anguish.

"𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘦—𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘸 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴—𝘮𝘺 𝘣𝘶𝘢, 𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘪 𝘒𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘢, 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘳.
𝘚𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦.
𝘛𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘢 𝘎𝘰𝘦𝘯𝘬𝘢—𝘔𝘢𝘢'𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥—𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘔𝘢𝘢'𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰."

She collapsed into the couch, her knees giving way under the sheer burden of her past. But this was only the beginning.

"You know what your husband did?"

Her voice trembled—not with fear, but with the weight of memory.
The kind of memory that slashed through time like a rusted blade—uneven, jagged, festering with truths no child should ever carry.

Her eyes weren't glazed with tears; they were sharp, haunted, wide with something far worse—clarity.

Everyone in the room froze.

She wasn't screaming. She wasn’t pleading. She was simply… stating.
And somehow, that was more terrifying.

"𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘉𝘶𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵… 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵… 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘭𝘺, 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘦.
𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘥 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴—𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘯.
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘻𝘦.
𝘈 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦—𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮.
𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘨𝘶𝘵-𝘸𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭-𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦."
